It picks everything up for you so you don't ever have to run around looking for ammo, and it also picks up mods through walls which is useful in the Void in vaults

I bet you'll have to craft some collar mechanism for it, then go on mission with it equipped in a gear slot and have to run up to a Kubrow and hit your use key on it.
Gonna have Oberon soon and I was thinking about pairing him with a bow. Is this a good idea? If so, Paris or Cerno (just stock, no Prime or Dread for now)

I didn't figure but I try to fit the looks with the weapons. Like my Rhino uses a shotgun etc.

once you use it, it's really hard to go back to picking shit up manually

One isn't necessarily better than the other. Cernos is more effective against Corpus, Paris is good against Grineer.

But from i've heard, Cernos is faster both in fire rate and charge and has higher crit

Wiki says they have the same charge speed, and the Cernos has 5% more crit chance. If I had to choose one, I'd use Cernos because I just realized it has a V polarity, whereas Paris has a - polarity.

I was thinking about that, i've heard quite a bit of good about it but I don't know much about it.

I think the Paris arrows fly faster and with less arc than Cernos, and the high puncture damage makes Paris much more effective against armour. Aside from the difference in effectiveness against Grineer or Corpus, I think Paris is meant as more of a long-range sniper bow for getting massive damage on weak spots while Cernos is a more rapid close-quarters bow with applications for crowd control since that thing's hammerhead arrows can sometimes knock enemies on their ass.
Paris prime is great. I don't bother with damage mods, you can get 100% crit rate on it so I just put on that, thunderbolt, and max hammershot and it kills most grineer in one hit and whatever is behind them
I really hope they stick to their word on buffing swords with melee 2.0. I'd use the shit out of the Dark Sword/Dagger if it wasn't garbage...
There's just way too many useless melee weapons.

And they NEED to buff the heat dagger, the potential for utility there is incredible. I mean it can toast bread [I]as you slice it![/I]
Dark dagger was great when it ignored armor and was useful for killing grineer. Now the melee weapons are just OK at killing infested and corpus
tis because the most common damage type is slash and slash is pants against armour and shields.

I put a maxed serration, corrosive damage, vital sense and hammer shot because I like shooting enemies and seeing it say things like 42631
This is further confusing me on which bow i should get :v:
So, we couldn't decide on if it did or not but it says my event score is 1.5k but that's from the Shield mission, do i still get the Gorgon? Also, are they doing the usual and giving it to us after the event or is there going to be more to this?

Getting 1000+ gets you the badge with particles in addition to the first batch of rewards.
