I've got to say, going through the end game of this game is just depressing. I joined a T3 survival game, looking for a sicarus prime receive. Fortunately for me, there are a lot of T3 survival games going around, due to the amount of people looking for rhino prime parts.
I joined a mission with a host who either was generous, or didn't have a lot of time, because he started the mission before I had time to say I was ready or ask what equipment I should bring. Normally, in missions that can go on for over half an hour, I tend to ask if there is anything special I can bring along. Since I recently got done leveling zephyr, I can now freely choose from my arsenal of level 30 frames, but I'm usually encouraged to only bring one of three; nova, frost or nekros, all of which I find quite boring to play, but they are made in such a way that they are a lot more effective in the mission. I mean I had a blast playing as zephyr, jumping up and down on enemies, but that is nowhere near as effective as blowing up everything in a mile's radius by pressing one button as nova. I even see people running around with dread, which is a fun weapon, but get yelled at if they dare bring it to T3 defense.
Anyway, back to my story, when I got into the survival mission with the impatient host, I instantly see a client in the chatbox say the common line "Is anyone lagging?". Me and the last client said no. Then the guy continued with "Volt looks like he's lagging" in a way with less gramatical correction involved. "Volt" I assumed referred to me and I did notice that there was a slight delay when picking up items, but at least the doors opened with little latency, so I replied that it wasn't too significant on my end. The conversation about lag luckily ended there, I didn't have a problem with useless resource drops not being sucked up by my carrier and was there mostly for the end reward anyway.
The rewards sure are a strange thing. I've seen people doing ~10-20 T3MD missions for a boltor prime blueprint, but I've never seen anyone getting it on the first-fifth try. The wiki states that "Each reward shares equal rarity among all rewards in the same mission." [url=http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Orokin_Void#cite_note-0][1][/url], but I still have the feeling that the common/uncommon/rare tierlists are still there. Don't you too find it strange when you find 3 reaper prime blades, 5 forma blueprints and only one boltor prime blueprint by doing several T3MD missions? In the survival mission I was in I got 2 rare 5 cores in a row, then the reward landed on a frost prime helmet.
When the guy who complained about lag earlier noticed the helmet, he instantly threw a message in the chat stating "that was close". By understanding simple math, I threw in a counterargument about how the drops are based on RNG and that us getting a frost prime helmet does not help the chances of a rhino prime helmet coming up next. Then the guy gave a valid argument about receiving credits in his earlier survival runs. I did find this strange, since I don't remember seeing any credit rewards in the drop tables and asked if that wasn't removed in the update.
Regardless of what was correct or not, the argument went on until the guy stated he wouldn't be surprised if DE left it in by accident and proceeded to call the game a buggy mess. Because I played this game since closed beta, which had a lot more bugs than the current state of the game, I was infuriated by his assumption and brought examples of bugs that had been fixed, like not being able to use your melee weapon after getting knocked down. The other guy then replied that getting disconnected was part of the problems the game had. I was shocked by his ignorance and argued with a disconnection could be anything from the host crashing to the clients network shitting itself, and thus didn't necessarily have to be a problem with the game itself. We both didn't have any more time to argue about it, because we suddenly noticed that life support went to 0% and we rushed to extraction. When I went back to the map screen, I hoped I would never see that guy again.
After heading back to recruitment, I looked at it in a different way. I noticed people hosting missions like T3 survival, T3 defense, ODS and ODD all had some kind of conditions. "Need a good nova, frost and nekros", "Only pro players" and other stuff were usually included in the offer and most of the missions I got into had at least one player complaining about lag. That's the part where I decided that sicarus prime is a stupid weapon and I don't want it.

I'm a casual player. I don't play the game to be "the best" or have all the gear. I want a fun way to play; I for example have a volt with mods like reflex guard and parry, a build that would by any end game player be considered impractical. Yet if I want stuff like prime gear, I am forced into games with people who say you need a specific frame or weapon. I have met people who have farmed for hours for the same thing and they are driven to some ridiculous levels of anger by it; they will rush through missions, they hate anyone who don't have a specific build, they scream at you if you move too far from the pod in a defense missions and they always want you to know that they are experiencing lag.
I don't like this. I play this game for fun, not as some kind of machine which does the same thing over and over. I don't want to be insane. I don't want to play the same mission over and over. I don't want to play frost with ogris!
This is not just DE breaking the game, it's also the community. DE made certain frames too useful, the community calls them the only viable option. If the community didn't do this, these frames wouldn't impose some kind of standard, thus no frames would be underpowered. If no frames were claimed to be underpowered, then the community would not make DE buff these frames which would end with the community turning them into a new standard and continue the evil circle.
I'm sorry, but I like games that are fun.

We had an alert the other day that we didn't check what it was before starting it. We dropped in, Lotus said it was an assassination. I said "Okay that's cool, but is it an actual Grineer boss or just a random guy?" because I did one earlier that was just a unit. We went through the level and got into the room with the target marker, I mentioned how it looked like Ruk's room, then low and behold a rescue target comes running out. We couldn't give him a secondary and he was ignored like the old rescue targets were, but the mission objective marker stayed on him. We actually had to search for the extraction because it was never marked. It was bizarre.

Sadly I have a friend who is everything bad about the Warframe community. I mean, props to him for actually taking me and Mericet through the Shield Core of the Tethra's Doom event, but it was followed by ten minutes of him telling me to "Get Gud" because I refuse to use cheese frames and equipment (Soma, Nova, etc) for this stuff and just play with what I want to play with. The sad thing was that after being, well, not bitched at, but informed of my failings for those ten minutes and bringing up that I play how I want to play (Which was just after he accused my beloved Valkyr and Oberon frames of being mostly useless), he got kinda sad and wished that he could get back to treating the game the way I do.
I imagine my frame and weapon armoury would give these people heart attacks for all the inefficiency.
And yeah, gonna add that I do think there is something up with the Void drop tables, definitely. "Equal chance for all parts" my ass.

I just ran a 30 minute T2 Survival and got 3 Credit caches, a Burston Prime Receiver BP, a Forma BP, and Morphics. Some old bullshit going on there.
Also, Oberon is the bee's knees when paired with a Nekros in Survival, as it turns out. I would use Reckoning and he'd convert all the corpses. It was easy as hell until about the 30 minute mark. Then we got the hell out :v:

Apparently at "Pro No Fun" tier all her abilities are considered worthless, especially her ult, because they detract from your DPS because you've stopped using whatever overpowered rape gun is your poison of choice and shifted to melee (Which is admittedly kinda broken at the moment, but I still find Hysteria very useful). Part of the erasure of fun these people go through which teaches them that Soma is life, Soma is love and whatever.

I've been feeling the same way recently when playing with my girlfriend and best friends, though my girlfriend does try to hold back a bit when her and I play together.
It also doesn't help that I can't get moving as fast as they can. I can't get the timing nor combo down for it, and the combo that I try makes my fingers hurt because of how often I need to use it to keep up, and with how the keys are placed.
And on top of that, I simply don't have the time that they do to sink into the game. With class four times a week, and hours worth of homework, I just can't play except on the weekends. Wheras they've got all the free time they could want. And because of it, I have objectively worse gear than they do, and I'll never be able to catch up until they reach some cap.
Man, that came out a lot more like whining and bitching than I wanted it to.

Not that I've noticed, but a friend of mine got glitched in a Furax finishing pose whilst coming out of Hysteria, and we couldn't break him out of it. I had to finish the mission without him. (He could still move in it, just very, very slowly, and couldn't jump)
