I think it would be neat to complete a mission while staying stealthed the whole time.
Oh yeah. I was soloing Infestation Defense on Jupiter (dumb idea, but I managed it). First time around I got an Energy Leech Leader on every wave past 1, and at wave 5 they threw no less than 3 Disruptors at me at the same time. From then on, I practically got Energy Leech Leaders every non-first wave (only leaders that ever showed up, nothing else), and Disruptors regularly. It's stupid how much energy I lost.
The only non-ancient leaders I've seen in the Infestation have been energy leech, so I don't think that's them being dicks I think that's just a limit on what could've possibly spawned.
The Energy Leech leaders should probably do a temp-drain instead of just losing energy from being near them, where energy is pretty much just blocked off until you kill them
I think the slow tick is okay. It's manageable and if you get them quick it doesn't drain much. The loss on hit can be ridiculous, though I'm fairly certain they only have it on melee targets. One of the biggest things that I think needs to be fixed is shit going through walls. Auras and explosions both shouldn't go through hard cover like walls or giant shipping containers.

It's not that slow, though. I mean, honestly. I just checked the wiki and it's 5 energy per second. I could understand that in multiplayer, but in single player that's simple astronomically high.
They should change it from "drain by simply existing" to something else. I mean, every other leader has to activate their powers. The ice leader is the only one I know of that has a passive and it's an aura movement slow. Other than that, it just adds/changes their damage type.
Nothing says fun videogames quite like an aura that instantly drains all your energy
Leaders in general feel pretty weak, they're just recolors with buffed stats and either auras or recycled abilities, I hope they give them some proper identity eventually

Is it that high? I haven't actually checked the wiki on them, I was going by just what I had experienced and it seemed less. I guess I'm also biased because of my high energy cap on Trinity.
Only ones I ever see people have problems with is Frost leaders 'cause they don't know how to deal with it. Rhino Stomp or Charge usually takes them out for me though.
Ugh, I hate it when I play online and I get paired up with a noob that can't parkour very well and each map basically ends up being this.

Oh god the Gorgon Wraith + Speed Trigger 4 just spits out ammo so quickly it's stupid. I probably wouldn't be able to sustain it on long missions. But it's so fun! :v:
so i was farming for the akbronco prime bp when the neural sentry just gave up.

did you mod your rhino to have 420 health on purpose
Why does he only have 420 health anyway, mine has 700 even.
i dont use vitality on any of my frames, so thats just redirection and vigor.

i swear i didnt do it on purpose.

Gorgon wraith is ok. I'd use my supra instead of it any day tho.
Agreed, I definitely still prefer my Strun Wraith and Cernos but it's really not bad, absolutely shredded everything on Apollodrus, I just can't see regularly using it.
Also Supra got high pucture so reks grineer and void
hitscan is reason enough to use it over supra
Also the cb nostalgia
Also the cb nostalgia
i remember when i told myself i would be bored with this game before i ever hit rank 7 to get a supra and used the grakata and gorgon.
627 hours later, im now rank 15...
I'm loving my Gorgon Wraith so far. I've turned it into a lead hose. It just sprays bullets in the direction of enemies... quietly.

Ok, so while running around doing an invasion against the Grineer and dealing with the Seeker and Rollers, I got an idea for a new frame, one built entirely around deployables. Basically, all his powers involve deploying something.
My thinking as far as powers would basically be this:
His first power is to deploy some simple minion, either something akin to a Seeker's Latchers or the Rollers, or something like an Osprey that will fly around attacking enemies.
His second being an energy wall or the like that blocks all shots and movement through it, somewhat akin to a cross between Frost's Snowglobe and Volt's Electric Shield.
His third would be a healing station of some kind that would provide constant healing for the duration of its life.
Then his ultimate would be to drop down a turret gun that will attack all enemies that come in sight. For this, I think it could make use of the Tornado's ability to take the damage type it is shot with, so shooting the turret with Electric damage will make it deal Electric, Blast will be blast, and so on.
Its a very rough idea that I thought kinda randomly, but I think it'd be a nice addition.

Another thought I had just now is actually changing how the turret fires. So giving it blast damage would make it fire high damage rockets but slowly. Heat damage would be a flame thrower. Electric would fire arcs out.
Something I can't really decide on is how would be better to do the life of the deployables. Just give them a duration, and no health? Or give them a health and they stay there until dead or a new one is deployed?
Sorry to bother you guys, but could someone summarize the game for me? I wanted the average FP'ers opinion before I decide to spend my download data on it. :P
Why the funnies! back in cb volt was death incarnated and so were gorgon and then HEK :v:

shoot or cut many bad guys by using a guy or gal equipped with alien superpowers and a fleshy space ninja suit.
levels are procedurally generated, every planet has a boss to defeat and weapons take time to build, but not very much so. If you enjoy your first couple hours in, pretty much all the rest of the game is like that.
there is a lot of weapon variety later on, like but not limited to laser gatlin guns, thunder-shooting alien blobs, explosive arrow firin' edgy bows, knives, swords, warhammers, grenade launchers, et.

Thanks, should've asked this before, but is there a skill system, does the game feel repititive and does it involve a lot of grinding?
