Bleh, can't change the colors on Gorgon Wraith. I was expecting it but I was hoping they would prove me wrong.
If you get the skins for it, you can recolor those.

XCOM mode - most of your bullets won't get the status because of that one 0.01% of not getting it.

Grinlok actually. Here's the same proc mods on Latron Prime:

Then this happened
Ok, so while running around doing an invasion against the Grineer and dealing with the Seeker and Rollers, I got an idea for a new frame, one built entirely around deployables. Basically, all his powers involve deploying something.
My thinking as far as powers would basically be this:
His first power is to deploy some simple minion, either something akin to a Seeker's Latchers or the Rollers, or something like an Osprey that will fly around attacking enemies.
His second being an energy wall or the like that blocks all shots and movement through it, somewhat akin to a cross between Frost's Snowglobe and Volt's Electric Shield.
His third would be a healing station of some kind that would provide constant healing for the duration of its life.
Then his ultimate would be to drop down a turret gun that will attack all enemies that come in sight. For this, I think it could make use of the Tornado's ability to take the damage type it is shot with, so shooting the turret with Electric damage will make it deal Electric, Blast will be blast, and so on.
Its a very rough idea that I thought kinda randomly, but I think it'd be a nice addition.
[editline]13th March 2014[/editline]
Another thought I had just now is actually changing how the turret fires. So giving it blast damage would make it fire high damage rockets but slowly. Heat damage would be a flame thrower. Electric would fire arcs out.
Something I can't really decide on is how would be better to do the life of the deployables. Just give them a duration, and no health? Or give them a health and they stay there until dead or a new one is deployed?
Yeah, Mericet and I have considered a frame like this, we call it the Drone frame when we talk about it, as our idea is that it's a very techy frame with quite a Corpus aesthetic, as in our mind it'd be a frame representing a lot of the Orokin technology that the Corpus have reverse engineered. Down to it's legs being quite Moa like in aesthetic.
Does the relative quantity of elemental damage dealt effect the chance that that element will proc?
not as far as i know.
not as far as i know.
Well out goes the Grinlok, a 1/4 chance of proc'ing the element I actually want on a slow firing weapon is a bit pathetic
Also, have the three stooges always spawned with sentinels? They came for me yesterday while I was soloing, and they seemed to have something equivalent.
Well out goes the Grinlok, a 1/4 chance of proc'ing the element I actually want on a slow firing weapon is a bit pathetic
Are you kidding? The Grinlok is crazy good.

It's okay, but I've never found it all that satisfying to use; every time I take it out, I'm just left thinking "the Marelok does it better". The only reason I was keeping it was in case I could make it reliably proc specific elements (which would be both useful and fun), but that's apparently not a thing.

g3 came for me while I was leveling a frame and two weapons
nice
edit: oh, and you need oxium to take it off. It's not like I'm trying to be a corpus supporter or anything

You lost? Woah, I mean just run around and gun or maybe even climb on top of something, you can defeat them without taking single hit.

I was in a small area with my back to a pit, with a lv6 gorgon and a lv 10 acrid, in my banshee with next to no shields/hp. Of course I lost, they bumrushed me.
Sorry to bother you guys, but could someone summarize the game for me? I wanted the average FP'ers opinion before I decide to spend my download data on it. :P
Bit late but in addition to what Lapsus said, treat this game like an F2P early access game as it's constantly evolving. There's still placeholder bosses (Earth's boss is next to be replaced), they're still adding new tilesets for levels (shipyards was teased in the event we just did), and in the past they have rewritten how the damage system works, and were also getting a completely new melee system soon.
It's probably why I've been playing this game for so long because I love watching it grow.
should have moved to a big area when they gave you warnings.
had there been one close by I would have

Downloading it now, oh how much I hate indian internet. Thanks for all the replies! Highly appreciated.
Just spent 2 hours doing T3 Survival keys straight and no Chassis, RNG blows.
I could use a Serration rifle damage mod right now, Vulkar seems weak for a sniper rifle. Still pretty good for a newbie.
You would have been better off selling the keys for plat, and buying the chasis with that plat.
Well doing 20min Survi and then killing warframe.exe, didn't lose single key.

You can just abort mission from the menu, as long as you don't go to extraction it won't use up the key
