yes, in the time i focus my phage beam, the enemy would have been dead had i used another weapon.
If you're using it to kill a single enemy, you're doing it wrong.
... But it is so ammo efficient you don't have to just focus on one enemy. It's not a difficult concept.
If you're using it to kill a single enemy, you're doing it wrong.
If I want to kill groups of enemies, there are better weapons that do not have the silly focus mechanic. The Penta, for example. Which is ridiculously ammo efficient, too.
If there are a bunch of enemies scattered throughout a room you can just keep firing as you switch between targets.
Phage pushes away dead bodies so it looks like they're being slapped away by tentacles. I like to think of it as a slapping weapon
Does it ban you snap instant or does it take a while? I mean someone clever could make new account give all rarest prime items and then trade away for another acc.
Delayed. He thought he was real clever when he didn't get banned straight away.
Who's laughing now?
I don't think I have ever ran out of ammo for any of the decent guns yet, especially a primary.
I guess you never used Grakata, Gorgon or Ignis then.
If you set up your Phage right you basically just have to hold Mouse 1 and spin in circles and you'll win the game.
If you set up your Phage right you basically just have to hold Mouse 1 and spin in circles and you'll win the game.
My current Phage does about 10,000 damage per second.
I didn't even forma it yet.
I don't see how this "always firing" thing is a benefit, it gives the same result as going through each target and clicking. Not like the enemies in Warframe are hard to hit or anything.
It's not, it's just what you do because focusing takes a while.
It's not, it's just what you do because focusing takes a while.
It really doesn't take as long as people seem to think it does.
It's like... a second?
So, any guesses as to what tomorrow holds? From what they've shown off before, there is a new crossbow that hopefully won't be as bad as the Ballistica. I'd be pretty good with getting that. Then there is that weird Freeze Ray thing, neat idea but not keen on it. Then we have the Tennotana, which hopefully won't be shitty but actually be really good and something you want to use regularly. That's what I really want.

I actually do that sometimes, is it wierd of me to enjoy carrying noobs all the way to Tolstoj?
That's pretty long for a fast paced game like Warframe. It limits my mobility if I have to keep walking to not lose the focus. And I have to charge for every time I see a crowd of enemies. Gah.
Also, see Lanka, that thing is annoying to charge for every shot.
While charging the lanka I usually do a jump in the air and spin around for a sick 360 noscope on some scrubs.
its pretty easy to do at least with zephyr even with a full fire rate mod.
I find it pretty annoying how you have to slide when landing to avoid Lanka's charge canceling from the roll.
Does the little stun you get from landing straight down also cancel the charge on weapons?
Its pretty silly how space ninja warrior cant jump 5 feet in the air without going to a crouch when they land.

I'd make a bet that Tennotana will be released with melee 2.0, to encourage people to go buy 'em. I'm hoping for the freeze ray sooner rather than later, as it strikes me that there's a good chance it'll have a high status; as it's innate cold damage, that means it's only one elemental mod away from being either viral or magnetic.
EDIT: Or blast, for that matter; leafblower inbound

Wait what?
Oh man that is awesome, time to re-do my Ignis!

To be fair, at least you don't have to keep aiming down sights to keep focus, and it doesn't seem like a whole second to focus the beams. Phage seems more suited for wrecking the shit out of bosses/larger enemies once you suit it out for damage. I could solo Lephantis with that thing.

Soloing Lephantis with anything is not a huge deal though. I have solo'd him with a Braton (without Forma), and had to use a single ammo consumable (Which is not a huge investment in the endgame) because I was tired and my trigger discipline was shit.
I always imagine crewmen being just spine and head and everything else robotic.

Reminds me of before damage 2.0, when everyone used cold damage.

I just discovered the thing that the Tenno end missions on can be considered a broken light on Grineer/Grineer invasion missions.
Edit:
Combine nekros with vauban on survival mission.
Get this.

Not pictured: us four doing the same thing in three other places, bringing my FPS down to 2.
So what are these broken light traps everyone keeps talking about??
So what are these broken light traps everyone keeps talking about??
They're lights on the grineer ships, and they zap you if you get near them for like 200+ damage.
They're lights on the grineer ships, and they zap you if you get near them for like 200+ damage.
More than that, they'll take me out of Iron Skin and damage my shields. So that's well over 800 damage.

True: that said, there has been a theme of high status chance as of late. I think DE are cottoning on to the fact that most effects aren't powerful enough to warrant such low chances of occuring, so I live in hope.
Plus a freeze ray that doesn't freeze would be the shittiest thing
