The hilts' patterning is very similar to the interlocking plates of a Pangolin's hide.
It's obviously made for hitting lizards with.

The item's description says it was used by an ancient tenno clan, which is probably how it got the name.

I just started playing Warframe recently because a friend told me to and now I play with him and it's fun but I have no clue what I'm doing besides going slash slash and pew pew.
Though apparently I helped my friend take down some level 30 or something Stalker that attacked us on my first training mission thing. That was fun.

Aren't all infested weapons clantech? So far they haven't used any clantech weapon as event reward.

I always considered the formula to be x*y*z whereas x is the base value that varies from 25 to 50, y is the number of nekros in the mission and z is a binary value of 1 or 0 whether the mission was successful or not.
Man the Markhor helmet looks really alien in comparison to the other Oberon helms.
I've started playing this game about 3 days ago and I'm pretty hooked, I managed to get my frame up to lvl 27 and managed to craft a revolver. (also interception misions are bullshit)

Nekros doesn't really help with Oxium though, because Drones leave no corpses to desecrate, right? (Oh god have I been wrong about this all along?)
Wait you mean you can desecrate them?
Pretty sure you can't. It relies on a body part of some kind which Osprey do not leave behind.
