Because Daggers naturally ignore armor (except Ether Daggers...) and are fast as shit. Longswords...welp.

Yet I see no one use daggers. Welp.
I feel like they should give daggers a faster ground execute and like 400% on them, and more stealth crit damage/totally ignore armor.
And longswords gain more damage against weakspots like heads of enemies and gain more damage on consecutive hits on a single target.

I have seen no one use them. Why use them when they have low range, are single target, and only offer a marginal advantage (ignore defense).
Everyone late game uses the Gram, Scindo, Dual Heat, or Dual Ethers.

Maybe because you like Daggers? I like the Gorgon hence I'm using it on my Frost but I could use the Hek, which is just way better.

Say what you want but I brought a ceramic dagger and dark dagger to 30 and it was rather fun, they were crap against infested but rather viable against grineers and corpus
plinking away at enemies with them is way less fun than, say, the fangs, though

Just gonna throw this out here: Furax does it better.
Every time I see someone using the Dual Ether Daggers I just laugh as I tear through the enemies with my regular Dual Ether's charge attacks. (I've got charge speed and charge attack damage maxed out, but still.)
My sides have split and launched into an orbit around Pluto. Why didn't anyone tell me that Furax allows you to launch enemies to the ceiling and bounce them around the room? :v:
