Just began construction on Ember woooooooooooo. She's my first frame built from scratch (no plat involved) and only my second overall.
Unrelated, my Steam overlay does not work, otherwise I'd take photos. Anyone know a fix?

If you're using the 64 bit version of the game go into the launcher options and turn that off.

I didn't even know anyone used the ceramic dagger with it's 50% AP damage, low range, and crap against infected.
At least they should buff melee mods imo, shocking touch for only 30% elemental damage at max rank for a cost of 11 energy?

Is it just me, or are control module drop rates fucked? I've fought Hyena loads of times over the past week and got nothing but nano spores.

Control Modules have pretty much stopped dropping for some reason.
Really? I got one a day or so ago for my Excal systems. Then again, I haven't tried beyond that.

I've received more Reactors than Catalysts. It's starting to piss me off. Also, how have I never found a single rifle or pistol multishot mod?

I have a phoenix helm. Too bad I won't build it as I have no intention of making ember.
I'll hold onto it in case trading ever becomes a thing, and if anyone needs it then, they can have it. Also, building the furax. Time to play rock-em-sock-em robots.
I rarely see Embers, which is a shame, I feel a lot of Frames don't have a good set of useful abilities, at least Ember, while having a specific anti-infested playstyle, all of her abilities support this. Many warframes have questionable abilities. I mean, I love my Mag, I use her consistently, but she has one, maybe two actually useful abilities. (Crush is brutal and justifies her existence, and Shield Polarize is sorta useful... sorta... sometimes).
I like playing Ember. Although I think I enjoy Rhino more (since I finished building it a day after it got nerfed, I have nothing to compare it to).
I disliked playing Mag as my starter frame.

I feel like fireball is kinda shitty and rather save those 25 points of energy for overheat, damn I love that skill, I don't use her third skill (the ring of fire) much either, and right now I'm dying for power efficiency mods and focus, heard that with max level focus you can tank better than rhino :v:
fireball is good for stunlocking.
I just wish Mag had a skill that wasn't trivial. Pull is kind of pointless other than dicking around with other players, Shield Polarize is really weak and Bullet Attractor seems to make every situation it is used in worse.
But Crush, Christ. I have a maxed range upgrade, and the helmet. I kill huge areas of enemies instantly. Makes mobile defence really easy. Why can't she have a move where she picks up an enemy and throws it at another or something, or lifts up a part of the environment and uses it like a spear? She [I]is[/I] the master of forces such as this.

Feels weird playing Exscalibur with Rhino weapons setup (Strun, Lex, Fragor). Shit has power and kick to it, especially the Hammer, but I feel like ninja who's alergic to subtlety and sharp edges.

Well, the avalon helmet was an alert reward 3 times in the past two weeks, and we got a few helmet as alert rewards this week too

Rhino's stomp is useful for those times when I'm surrounded and can't knock everything down with a jump attack
