Except in this case we sort of do have a reason to whine. Putting a countdown timer on a countdown timer isn't a bright idea for luring people into an update.

I jumped into the first alert and I'm pretty sure I got 3 blueprints.

That contest was super disappointing. No drill-fist, no sparrows, only decent winner was the Tonfa.

Well don't count down to something if it isn't going to be finished. They clearly knew beforehand that it wasn't going to be ready if the final day was uploaded with a countdown.
