Why the hell is the trade tax so high? Gonna run me around 230k to trade 4 mods for some platinum.
Wait, I thought we weren't supposed to have a trade tax? I blame Krail... and the other arcitect... and that one Swedish moderator guy.
I've already been contacted by some smaller clans about forming alliances when Badlands hits.
Though while I'm not THAT interested in Badlands, I will try to do something with it.
I was thinking if possible (DE please), I would appoint some "Shoguns" who are interested in Badlands and can lead that stuff. If possible, please DE give us more clan control.
I'm willing to work on the solar rail and alliance aspects of the clan...
will manage space trains and murdurobo's for potato.
I guess we could set up one tower, see how it goes and continue from there.
Imagine if there ends up being some giant clan that tries taking over all the towers and basically ends up with a monopoly.
Any gifs of the livestream kicking about yet?
I gotta get me summa dat Melee 2.0 goodness
Also, the Goon Clan is a Moon Clan.

I know, which is why i didn't specify clan, the trade tax itself is just ridiculous.
What are the benefits of joining a clan anyways? I've been a lone wolf sniper dude since the the time I began playing.

Three frames, numerous weapons, rare materials, etc. You're missing out on quite a lot.

the clan dojo has facilities that let you build unique weapons and equipment. technically though there's nothing stopping you from making a clan that consists of only yourself, and since the material costs to build rooms and research items and shit scales with the number of members allowed in your clan it's quite feasible (albeit pretty tedious if you're doing it with no help) to build a fully featured dojo on your own.
I want a trident weapon. Charge throws it and then it comes back due to space magic
Here is the basis of most of the alliance/badlands stuff.

The new nodes, Kadesh and Wahiba for Mars, are inaccessible until a clan builds a Solar Rail on it. The Solar Rail is created in a new special "Orokin Research Lab" room in the Dojo. There will also be other researches to be acquired from this room much like the other labs.

Here is the example of a Badlands node with only one occupant, in this case an alliance of clans. Other clans or alliances can contest this node with their own Solar Rail, creating a miniature invasion of sorts. Clans can set trade and resource taxes gained from the missions.

As a result of players fighting for one side or the other, the Solar Rail for a Clan/Alliance will deteriorate, requiring maintenance and repair, hence why having 0% taxes might SOUND like a good idea, but could mean certain players becoming bankrupt.
Being in an alliance would mean instead of fighting for "Facepunch Solar Rail" or "Warbros Solar Rail", you'd be fighting for "The Alliance Solar Rail", and presumably the tax would go to a shared alliance vault for use on Alliance projects. Presumably.
The missions themselves DE has not gone into detail, but it's likely they will be the same normal gametypes... which means whoever grabs the endless defense or survival missions will probably be rolling in it.
Solar Rail? I wish we will get warp drives or something to travel beyond our Solar System.
[sp]Centre of the fucking Galaxy[/sp]
wait what if that's their exact plan and the next race that has been confirmed will be somethig similar to Collectors from Mass Effect - they will live in space station in the centre of the Galaxy.

They're planning of getting rid of the Solar System as a mission selection map sometime in the future around the corner in update 38.

All I ask for Centre/Core of the Galaxy, I really want to have a game where we can explore that place. ME2 did that, kind of. Spore did that, yeah.
New races would be cool.
I wonder how long along the line they are.
I want to see some civillians of warframe universe.
The briefly touched on it. They said that they know what the next faction will be and it's going to be the "least humanoid" of the bunch. My bet's on the return of the sentients.

It's been pretty much confirmed. They've been teasing this for ages.
I just wonder, how far from that point are we?
Probably a ways off.

Isn't the center of the milky way most likely a super-massive black hole?
Sure would be interesting if the next race are orokin that left the solar system due to an apocalypse or some shit and now that they know it's habitable again, they're coming back

That's the point. ;)

Story/Lore goes that the Tenno, prior to being cryogenically preserved by someone, killed the Orokin.
Isn't the center of the milky way most likely a super-massive black hole?
Yes.
And ME2 didn't visit it, it simply visited a core system near the middle.
those big gardens are pretty cool, I'll see if we can work them into our dojo
