So I check the official warframe twitter; -Snipped- erm
So.. a christian web pastor likes Warframe...? Not really sure what is 'erm' worthy about this.
Jannet Hopewell can and will whoop your ass in Warframe.
Ah, right. I understand what you mean now. Sorry, I misunderstood your argument. No, you're right, it might theoretically be possible but I imagine each suit is tailored to augment the abilities of the specific Tenno. Otherwise why bother making so many different Frames?
Different frames for different purposes. Actually, think about Trinity and the tip given for her during loading screens. "Warframes with healing technology are rare." That lends some credence to the idea that the Warframe is the determining factor, and the Tenno just provides the raw energy.
Well, we've already discussed that the Warframes just focus their powers, their abilities are actually inherent to the Tenno inside. So it could just be Valkyr-Tenno inside her Orokin/Prime Suit. So either Alad created a Tenno (Highly unlikely, or we'd be fighting Corpus ones. Although, there is that possible Corpus Assassin unit coming in the future...), or Valkyr's abilities were pretty similar to the ones she has now, just without the pain and rage. Theoretically there could be a Valkyr Prime, but they've got one heck of a backlog of Warframes to Prime first, and there fast approaching a problem with where to put them all.
So Valkyr is still pissed off.... just pissed off in a shiney new Gold Plated prime suit. Heck, instead of giving valkyr prime some polarity slots, they should just double her armour to 1200.
Do Tenno feel emotions? I mean is Valkyr mad at Alad V for doing bad touch inside its Warframe?

How about make Valkyr Prime be the one with the heavy armor, and the emaciated standard Valkyr actually fit with its style and have crazy shields but no armor. I mean, its fucking Corpus, shields is their thing, not armor.

Ember's codex entry is more recent than that and seems to suggest that the individuals are more important than the 'frames, which exist to augment their powers. As does the entry about the Tenno: The Sentients had won. They had turned our weapons, our technology, against us. The more advanced we became, the greater our losses. The war was over unless we found a new way. In our desperation we turned to the Void. The blinding night, the hellspace where our science and reason failed. We took the twisted few that had returned from that place. We built a frame around them, a conduit of their affliction. Gave them the weapons of the old ways. Gun and blade. A new warrior, a new code was born. These rejects, these Tenno, became our saviors. Warrior-Gods cast in steel and fury striking our enemies in a way they could never comprehend. Combine that with what happened Kaleen and I think the abilities are specific to the individuals (Though some must obviously share the same reaction to the Void + Technocyte virus, and have the same or similar enough abilities). Of course, there is a bit of contradiction between game mechanics and the lore, so who knows? Would be interesting if they went that route for Valkyr Prime, imo.

Just that the Tenno have their power, and the Warframe is designed to focus it, it could technically focus it in any number of ways. Like I said, Ember and Kaleen could easily just be a case of "Child has no control over their power, causing it to manifest in random forms."
If you're talking about a child that has no control over their power, it can literally just be a burst of power taking a random form. It could have resulted in her being encased in ice or nuked or whatever.
[editline]9th April 2014[/editline]
I mentioned this a while back, hoping Valkyr prime would have Laser swords instead of claws and screams less.
Yeah, I really hope that is what they do. Missed opportunity otherwise.
I don't know, if the Warframes weren't tailored for individuals and their specific powers, I don't see why they'd bother making them so, well, unique. It would be far simpler to create a generic male and female suit and swap out components to focus the raw unlimited power of the Tenno in whatever way. But I still think the specific power comes from the Tenno themselves, as I think the rage slant to Valkyr's powers post experimentation sort of suggests that, as she doesn't have much of a suit left to augment her specific abilities, so is making up for it with her anger. Your idea would be nice though, because we could theoretically get male and female suits for the various types of Warframe down the line.
Man, I'm not sure if sniping is all that useful in Co-op mode. Sure I can 1 or 2 hit kill many enemies with 4 high damage bullets, but does that compare to clearing the room with a press of a button? I honestly don't know. It also matters what level the enemies are, I really want to increase the power of my Serration mod for Vulkar, though I would need some Formas for that. It's great for soloing tho since you'll remain at a long distance away from enemies. That only goes for Extermination missions.
Ditch the Vulkar and start using Vectis instead.
Is the vulkar still really bad?
Is the vulkar still really bad?
It is the "baby's first sniper" so it is.
Doesn't Vectis do less damage per shot? I already got like 4.2x critical damage on Vulkar thanks to mods. Not to mention 50% critical chance. Why move to Vectis besides "this guy said so"?
Doesn't Vectis do less damage per shot? I already got like 4.2x critical damage on Vulkar thanks to mods. Not to mention 50% critical chance. Why move to Vectis besides "this guy said so"?
Because Vectis is the MLG choice DUUUH.
Vectis does 174 per shot, Vulkar only does 145. Vectis also beats it out in crit chance (25% vs 20%) and damage (200x vs 150x). vulkar does have a 25% status though. And while I generally don't care too much about status, that is rather nice. But hey I'm not a min-max dweeboid. Use what you want. Hell, I use the burston for gods sake. Dont let stats get in the way of fun.
Because Vectis is the MLG choice DUUUH.
Not buying it. Besides, the thing has pitiful zoom compared to Vulkar.
Not buying it. Besides, the thing has pitiful zoom compared to Vulkar.
It was a joke about those guys who say "take that weapon, the other is crap"
Vectis does 174 per shot, Vulkar only does 145. Vectis also beats it out in crit chance (25% vs 20%) and damage (200x vs 150x). vulkar does have a 25% status though.
Lanka is master race. Please calm down with your petty vectis and vulkar argument. Try Lanka with crit build and blast status. Good luck seeing anything with the scope though.
There's no way I'm able to get that any time soon. So, Vectis for now.
Keep in mind with the vectis if you reload immediately after shooting you jump straight to reloading. If you don't manually reload it, there's a significant delay between firing and loading a new round. If you do manually reload after every shot though, you can dramatically increase your DPS.
Also Charged Shot mod goes well with the Vectis.
some people...
some people...
The nerve that some people have is ridiculous. They should be happy they are even updating the game on such a scale. And for free, unlike some companies.
I still wonder what are they doing during these last hours.
I still wonder what are they doing during these last hours.
making sure everything (as much as possible) works so everyone doesn't lose their shit when they find that one animation locks up if you use it in mid-air in an elevator during a nightmare ceres mission
The nerve that some game companies have is ridiculous. They should be happy they are getting away with setting false release dates on such a scale. And for delaying multiple times too, unlike some companies.
Fixed it for you
Getting my hands on contagious spread is REALLY getting on my nerves... Why of all the mods in the universe is THAT one tied to TWO of the rarest enemies in the game, both of which have a sizeable drop table...
