I'm sorry to tell you this but...
Thanks for putting me back on Utility position.

CLICK FOR FULL RESOLUTION: [t]http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/8332/dojok.png[/t] So let me explain some of the notes: The grey lines means the module isn't immediately critical purely from a utilitarian point of view, if we consider starting research as soon as possible our main goal. However, if demand is high enough, we can still build them whenever we want. Orange numbers indicate the build order. We need to build the grand hall at the same time as the research departement because otherwise we will run out of capacity. Pros: Great potential for future expansion, symmetrical in nature, logical layout easy to navigate. Cons: It will take a lot of time, patience and resources to make. I just think it's a good layout even if we won't immediately get benefits from it. It's future-proof, and we won't get stuck in a clusterfuck layout just because we put labs everywhere. We want to make this our HOME. This is a worthy goal to attain. [editline]25th May 2013[/editline]
Hey guys, I've calculated the final capacity and energy load if we built EVERYTHING that is indicated on the blueprint. GAIN: Total Capacity Available 300 Total Energy Available: 105 DRAIN: cross connectors: 7 (10 cap, 3 en) = (70 cap, 21 en) t-shaped: 6 (5 cap, 2 en) = (100 cap, 33 en) elbow: 8 (1 cap, 1 en) = (108 cap, 41 en) labs: 7 (2 cap, 5 en) = (122 cap, 76 en) reactors: 4 (5 cap, 0 en) = (142 cap, 76 en) elevator: 1 (2 cap, 2 en) = (144 cap, 78 en) grand hall: 1 (0 cap, 2 en) = (144 cap, 80 en) Duel arena: 2 (10 cap, 10 en) = (164 cap, 100 en) Total Capacity Usage: 164 Total Energy Usage: 100 Verdict: PASS
Lookin good man [editline]25th May 2013[/editline] So next step is building two cross connectors and then an oracle?

Like, at this pace, we'll have the oracle and first Energy research in a week or so. Plus did you calculate energy and space requirements?
Ive got 4-5 void keys if anyone wants to party up with me in a couple of hours.
I think the cross connector near the chem labs should end with an elevator.
Okay, so. Farming keys. I got 3 today, and this is how: Step 1 - Go solo. Step 2 - Go to Io on Jupiter Step 3 - Kill, Maim and Burn everything the Infested throw at you Step 4 - Quit after wave 5 Step 5 - Redo all the above. The keys aren't going to drop a lot (Again, got only 3 over 2-3 hours of doing this), but they -will- drop. Plus, you'll be able to get salvage and circuits, which we'll need for building the dojo. I've no clue if the keys drop while you're in a party, but solo'ing definately drops them. The keys I've gotten have all been rank I's, two Raids and an Exterminate. Happy hunting~
I think the cross connector near the chem labs should end with an elevator.
That's why it's labeled as future expansion, isn't it? We've already got enough planned to last a month.
Fucking awesome Still we won't be able to start researching stuff for weeks. Plus did you calculate energy and space requirements?
Re-updated the image. When we will build the great hall, space won't be a problem, and we can build 2 more reactors as we need. We won't encounter any energy problem until we start building the second dueling room or more than 2 per each type of lab. I'll do a proper calculation after I ate breakfast and took a shower.
We may need more than one elevator, just in case everyone needs to use the potty.
Should we be keeping the most up-to-date dojo blueprints in the OP?
I think the cross connector near the chem labs should end with an elevator.
I thought that too, but having the oracle lab there is a much better compromise. We could add an elevator at the end of each research hallway. [editline]25th May 2013[/editline]
Should we be keeping the most up-to-date dojo blueprints in the OP?
Maybe just a link to the post itself.
That'd work too. I guess you can just keep editing that post if the design changes.
Yeah. Hopefully the tile system works correctly and we won't get any conflicting tiles that will ruin everything. I know that the grand hall and dueling rooms had their share of problems, so that why I deliberately put them at a distance. [editline]25th May 2013[/editline] Ok, I really need to eat and shower. See you guys in two hours. Keep posting the constructive criticism.
If we need a little bit of space, there's always the small hallways.
Re-updated the image. When we will build the great hall, space won't be a problem, and we can build 2 more reactors as we need. Cross connectors alone cost 10 and the only thing which brings it up is the great hall. So if we reach limit before building south 1x + connector (10) 2x T connectors (10) 2x L connectors (2) then the greathall we fucked up. We have 80 capacity now (It counts stuff in construction too) subtract 22 so we have 58 left, meaning that halfway through the research wing we have to stop building and start the social wing or we won't be able to follow the plan without demolishing stuff Editline: However, with the amount of capacity left, we'll be able to build at least the oracle and one research lab following the plan, before needing to expand south.
What if we build the research and social wings at the same time then?
What if we build the research and social wings at the same time then?
That's the original plan, I think.
Ive got 4-5 void keys if anyone wants to party up with me in a couple of hours.
whats your IGN
Ive got 4-5 void keys if anyone wants to party up with me in a couple of hours.
I'm up for this.
So how does this key thing work exactly? Some special place where you use the key and get tons of special loot?
So how does this key thing work exactly? Some special place where you use the key and get tons of special loot?
Get the key. Use the key. Open a rift in reality and find an ancient, highly-advanced 'tower' in the middle of the inverted space.
Get the key. Use the key. Open a rift in reality and find an ancient, highly-advanced 'tower' in the middle of the inverted space.
that sounds awesome! the rift in reality part :v:
that sounds awesome! the rift in reality part :v:
also, y'know, besides that you can get 77,000 creds a pop from a rare key
we now have 250 members in the guild time for celebration
Also, y'know, besides that you can get 77,000 creds a pop from a rare key.
Except you need to get rid of 120 level 50-100 enemies. Another awesome thing is that you get a "rare" item (or just another latron prime part). [editline]25th May 2013[/editline]
We now have 250 members in the guild! I now have one Latron Prime barrel, three Latron Prime stocks, two Latron Prime blueprints, and not a single receiver. On the plus side, if we can ever trade BPs among clan members, I can set you guys up with some stuff.
