You have 3. I have no idea if you can get any back because I've only played the map once.
Because real life = good game design amirite
no because that's how alcatraz was actually built. it's got pretty damn small hallways, and has a very basic setup to it.
WATCH ME KILL ALL THESE PEOPLE. JUST A PISTOL. LOOK GUYS IM PISTOLING. DID YOU SEE MY PISTOL?
Really driftor just talk about the map, no one cares about the tac 45. Its a 2 hitter, its not REALLY that impressive no matter what the other person is using.
Yeeeeeeah...
He's really not that great at playing black ops 2.
"It's better in slow motion".
so, who's excited for waiting thirty days for Uprising? :3
gives me a chance to work on my diamonds, i guess
How works the "Afterlife mode"?

you start in afterlife mode, you have 3 (in solo don't know about multiplayer). When you go down you go into after life mode if you have any "lives" left. You move around fast and jump really high, theres walls you can walk through and you can zap shit.
Also the map has a different hud and theres recipes for building shit on the scoreboard.
Well fuck, I guess their fixing of the emblems didn't last very long. =/
Whenever I get a death machine it seems to cause more of my own deaths than enemy deaths. Most of the time it seems to be better to just use a normal weapon.
Whenever I get a death machine it seems to cause more of my own deaths than enemy deaths. Most of the time it seems to be better to just use a normal weapon.
The thing with the Death Machine is that it's designed to provide suppressive fire against enemies. After spending much time using it, I find that it's best used in situations where you have the advantage, whether it's you hiding behind an object or looking over a hotzone; situations where you don't have to necessarily move too much so that you can keep the gun spinning.
Uprising is really teasing the fuck out of me.
And it's going to be painful to find a wallet card in case I wanna buy something.

Makes more sense, I've only gotten them in care packages. I just find it's use is so situational that most of the time the weapon I'm using normally works just as well even while camping.
So this is fun.

Just need 2 more shield kills while getting shot at before gold on the shield.
Don't forget, if you're looking for players send me a PM with your platform, username/GT and region so I can put you in the OP.
Now for a bit of information about the new zombie map based on playing it solo by myself.
You start with 3 lives, getting another one back at the start of each round. The time you get in the afterlife is shorter for each time you get downed during the same round. The spawning of your ghost works exactly like the "who's who" perk from Die Rise. The first down during a round will give you plenty of time to look around, while the second one dies off pretty fast and if you have another life you'll have to run straight for your body with time to explore.
The side quest is a big part of the map, like other maps where you would have to find a way to turn the power on, the side quest is in your face and wants you to do it.
After picking up an quest item it stays on your character until it's used. Quest items are shown on the top left of the scoreboard, and item builds on the right. Quest items are shown in the world with a green glow around them (looks like a tactical insertion) and requires you to do tasks in and out of the afterlife. The first quest item is needed to get to the rest of them, the warden key, which is in the inner section of the map.
There is no complete power switch to turn on everything, everything from electric doors to perk machines require you to go into the afterlife and shock a switch connected to them. Sometimes the switch is right next to them and some times you have to go through ghost walls to find them.
There is also dog heads painted on the walls in 3 rooms, killing zombies in the same room as these paintings causes a dog head to come out of the wall and eat the corpse, feed him enough zombies and he goes away. After feeding the dogs you get a tomahawk that works similar to a boomerang that penetrates zombies and returns to you.
When they first mentioned the Personalisation Packs, did anyone else think that meant we could customize them through colouring different parts of our guns?
I love using the S12, such an under-rated weapon. Reminds me off the SPAS12 from BO minus the range (you have to get real close with S12)
Aw yeah.

Took me 6 days and 12 hours, probably longer than many people but I only played for one double xp weekend.
And now for Diamond ARs. The M8A1 is such a beast at medium range, but so bad at close range...
I actually have two classes, one with quickdraw and reflex for large maps and one with fast mags and select fire for small maps.
It's working really well, but get almost no headshots... With burst weapons I'd rather aim for center mass for reliable kills, so I get most of my headshots on prone opponents. Oh well.
It took me 9 days the first time......
6 days for 10 prestiges isn't bad at all, that's faster than I could pull off :l
I'm on 6 days, 17 hours at Prestige 7, Level 51.
I should probably check the time spent so far, not at my desktop though, shame :(
[editline]17th April 2013[/editline]
it's probably around 7 or 8 days, only prestige 3 iirc
It took me a while to realize why it is called Black Ops
i implore you to actually visit alcatraz.
Tight corridors are great for prisoners, not great for gameplay when youre being chased by hordes of zombies
Let's play some TDM, it'll probably be your average ga-

Excuse me whilst I go ponder what happened.
Oh, the trash talk in the corner? Guy trying to Assault Shield/Combat Axe combo me without Fast Hands. Shame.
Ok, for most of you who didn't get to see it, here's the emblem I made a few days ago.

Nice.
I love seeing good emblems online, most people just have terribly made ones from tutorial videos that they couldn't even reproduce correctly. I've seen maybe 5 "challenge accepted" le epic meme ones over the last few days, it's making me angry.
Anyone knows how to make the logo of the Mercs or the CDC?
Oh the emblems are working on elite again? Here's mine.

Did a rough version of CDC real quick.

Only confusing bits are the ripped parts, couldn't figure out a good way of doing the left one.

Layers 28 & 29 are the right scratch and layers 30 & 31 are the left scratch. Control is missing the N and T so if you want no scratches you have only 2 more layers to work with.

Because in da future, white cops have turned on society.
If you go into Afterlife mode.
You lost all your perks or you recover it after reviving yourself?
I never used Who is Who
