fourdeltaone is gone. They god C&Ded by activision and had to shut it down.
I really want the snoop dogg dlc on PS4, I really don't like the game but it would be fun to play with for a bit.
My only wish for AW is that it won't be riddled with micro-DLC's (like Ghosts and BO2), that it will have good character customization and a co-op PvE-mode alongside the MP.

they wouldn't be allowed to touch the call of duty ip if they weren't owned by activision.
sometimes i feel like i'm the only person that still enjoys ghosts. mostly for extinction, but i still enjoy it.
also something to note: Advanced Warfare runs on the cry engine.

Cosmetics are fine, as long as it is new content. In Ghosts they charged you for new playermodels that were already in the base game with a complete set of animations.
And should i even start about the map packs that contains new guns? OP guns too, if you don't have/don't want to spend money on the game (a game that you've already spent moeny on that is supposed to resemble a finished product) you don't get new SMG-AR hybrid weapons etc.
Maybe it's just me but IMO it's a pretty dumb system, obviously made to maximize profit with disregard for quality.
(They literally piss on customers.)

yeah on-disc dlc is shit, i agree on that. but the concept of little cosmetic things that cost at most $2.50 is an alright idea. as for unbalanced weapons that cost a lot, there's two people to blame for this. IW for not knowing how to balance shit, and Activision for charging that amount of money. And then then there's the flip-side to this; IW for not telling Activision their content isn't worth that amount of money (most devs care about a larger audience through low prices because THAT maximizes profit) and Activision for not considering the quality of the content they're charging for.

They weren't even bought by them, sledgehammer was formed when activision scraped surplus developers from other reaches and called it a studio.

Me and an old friend use to play this all the time split screen and use to have him sleep over at mine just to play online on this, oh the memories, still better than MW3 and Ghosts to me.
I remember back when CoD3 was considered the weakest game in the series, even though it was still a great game. How far we've fallen... :(

I wasn't too keen on them, i don't know if it was the maps or just how generally annoying they are.
I wasnt too fond of World at War in general, Multiplayer wise anyway. And i can't exactly go back to it on the Xbox because all the modders are flying about now.

I must seriously be the one person who did not enjoy Ghosts' campaign, it was complete dogshit compared to previous CoD campaigns. Sure, it didn't get as bad as say, MW3, but it was still pretty bad. The only good parts were the space, tank and train levels. The characters were written horribly, that cliche-as-fuck ending ruined a shit-turned-somewhat-decent story and made a dumb setup for Ghosts 2 (which is inevitable). The multiplayer was the only decent thing for Ghosts and because the game was so horribly optimized it was barely playable, I just stopped playing it altogether because Black Ops 2 was better in every way. Also, Zombies > Extinction. Sorry, but replacing zombies with aliens and trying to throw in a storyline does not make a better co-op game.
Ghosts campaign had alot of potential but in the end it wasn't that interesting, IMO the only good CoD campaigns in the recent games were in MW and BO2.

They really are doing things just for the fuck of it now. They kill off someone you play as, as you are playing them, and they think they're masters of the fucking universe. They need to stop selling the plot, I think everyone is keen on the fact that these games have only been about multiplayer for like ever.
Video games in general need to stop selling plot. They all suck pretty hard.
