afterlife isnt the same as going down, if you revive yourself in afterlife before it running out, you keep everything
however, if your afterlife runs out, you go into revive stance, which means when you're revived you lose all your perks

I've started playing again after not, uh, playing for like a month, managed to play Studio which was fun (though I expected it be anyway). and Encore was pretty fun after I got used to it as well. Ooh, and the Elite emblem thing is working as well, so you can see how shit mine is:

Oh, that reminds me that I made an emblem of Simon as well. While it's not pixel art, it's based off his whipping animation in Castlevania 1. I guess I'll just have to show you guys tomorrow.

I always thought that the wipeout team logos would make wonderful emblems, but I'm too shit with the editor to make anything.
I'll probably try to make a flux capacitor (from back to the future) though

The next Call of Duty will be out by then, so it won't be much of a problem.
It makes sense actually, and I doubt you'll need so many slots when the majority is playing the next CoD. I bought the pack for the CaC slots anyway.

its not amazing but its far better than most emblems on xbox. took about 20 mins to make. 27 layers if im not mistaken

Actually I think you can get the letters in. Instead of putting in the black parts for the letters you can have two black rectangles and use white to create the negative space. From my count it would take 27 parts to do the black lettering normally but only 20 to just insert the white parts (22 counting the rectangles).
