so i looked into my Nvidia control panel and found that thread optimization was off by default for MP and power saving mode was on. i turned on the optimization and removed the save mode and suddenly theres no more dipping at all. it still dips on defender but its seriously only once in a blue moon and its a split second instead of like 4 seconds.

geforce experience fucks with my computer too. often crashes and occasionally the capture server has a memory leak and tanks performance globally in windows

So stuttering is back. when I pulled up my computer's control panel I found I was using literally 6.8 gigs of my RAM. ive never had a game actually use that much since BF4's launch, and atleast the game was much more massive and prettier. COD:AW was using 3 gigs of fucking ram while idle in the main menu, they need to fix this shit asap.

i had mp installed separately from sp
sure, it was 40gb because mp uses the same assets as sp but i wasn't able to play the campaign or exo-survival
I can't seem to find any games, in any playlists, and I just bought this damn game. Played 1 TDM which was really laggy.
Plus, I cannot run this without it looking like shit, when I maxed literally every other CoD.
Thinking about getting a refund, is it at all possible (I would only try for a refund if this problem continues after a day or two).

This game, while I really want to like it, seems to be plagued by the same problems as all the other ones, no dedicated servers, extremely small community on PC, performance, etc. Its fun, really fun infact, but I think I might just get a refund and get it on PS4, or get ARMA 3 instead. I'll keep it for a day or two and see if the problem continues. Right now, there are only 3,500 or so people playing on PC. That's really, really bad for a game this new. Especially because me being a busy person means I usually only get to play at night, when the playercount dips to a low level.
Also, what the hell happened to the in-game player counts? In the other CoDs you can view how many are in each playlist, it seems to have been removed in this one.

Mine keeps fluctuating between none and moderate, pretty sure it's just the game being dumb.
So does Sledgehammer not test anything before putting it out??
First it's all the glitch areas on the MP maps, and some bad balancing issues, now it's freezing because of camo challenges being bugged

They've released one patch and the games been out for almost 3 weeks. I don't think they've done anything regarding testing. I don't even know if they've played this game.

the next pc patch is soon acc to the devs to remove the glitch spots. ive never heard of freezing caused by camo challenges and balancing is a bitch with literal 12 year olds crying about the TTK being too high and the bal/ak solve that.

Glitch spots have been removed. The balancing issues involve the BAL, really - I've had games where I was the only player not using it.

Is the next patch going to add an FOV slider for SP as well as fix stuttering too? Where'd they mention the next patch at?
