what the fuck man. The challenges on specials are stupid. I only need to get blood thirsty medals with them all but I can't even get 3 kills without dying with any of them.
I find using the Assault Shield and Crossbow to be pretty good (Assault Shield on your back, so switching weapons at spawn obviously) if you don't mind camping a little, because whenever someone is shooting you it seems that half of their bullets will hit your shield instead of you.

Sooo, does anyone else think they should start increasing the length of the singleplayer? I just finished it for black ops 2 and I thought it ended a bit too suddenly. There are also a lot of character interactions and stuff that could have been fleshed out a lot more, even with just a 10 hour campaign rather than a 5 hour one.

I would love to have an extended campaign, or even with the DLC, include campaign missions to extend the story. Or tell more of what happened between certain missions.

I played Sticks and stones exclusively for the crossbow and ballistic knife. Pick your shots carefully with the crossbow for the bloodthristy. I got it after a few games.

The bloodthristy on the ballistic knife is much easier because you can just stab people.
Ok got gold crossbow, only took 2 games of sticks and stones to get a blood thirsty.
Also smoke grenade with scavenger and shock charges is probably the best way to go about knife bloodthirsty. I've gotten one so far.

Fuck yeah, I got diamond on specials. I had 0 kills on the ballistic knife at the start if the day and got it gold in about 3 hours.

Shock Charges are shit compared to Concussions, they only stun the enemy for like 2 seconds unlike Concussions stunning them for about 5.

for the 3 of you that disagreed with me, you CAN use the axe mid crossbow spree to pick up a scavenger bag. That's the only reason i was able to get mine gold. you just have to have 5 crossbow kills. AFAIK no other weapon will allow you to do this.
I got 4 kills with crossbow, axe kill and picked up ammo, another crossbow kill, gold
