Call of Duty is the least "It's the taking part that counts" kind of game ever.
The first time I played CoD was Modern Warfare 2.
The voice for the Enemy UAV Spotted was too fucked up.
I tough it was saying:
"Head up! Enemy on your reach point"
Like an advice in FFA telling that someone spawned close to you.

Also, my English sucked a lot.
In Mexico, at the first, the games weren't in Spanish.
They were all in English.
I though all game modes were "P2P" (Pay to play).
And Free For All (Because the "Free) was the only game mode for people that just bought the game.
Anyways, I learned English, and I still purchase games in English because I don't like the voice actors for the Spanish Versions (They sound really oddly and out of place)
Also, I though that to call in a Predator Missile you had to throw a flare to the place where you want it to impact.

get under/ behind their shield from the other side of a wall and shoot at head height of the shield, I had some kids raging in a TDM because I was killing them through the floor while they were camping behind shields.
Somehow managed to get a 15 killstreak with the B23R, I don't even understand this stuff sometimes.

I know the feeling. Especially when you're playing on an objective based game (ctf, domination, etc) and your entire team is running around acting like it's TDM.
Another that pisses me off is when you spawn on domination and all your teammates run straight for the B flag rather than helping you secure your base flag.

Riot shields are easy to counter if you have a shock charge or similar disorienting grenade throw it at them and then simply run behind them and either knife (careful, if the disorientation wears off quick enough they can take you down easily) or shoot them.
If you don't have a nade, just run.
It's also good to stick around a teammate, that way if you encounter a shield user it's very easy to outmaneuver them.

You won't panic once you get your fourth kill, and you won't get upset if you get killed before the fifth. You will get some bloosthirsty medals eventually, but just play the game meanwhile. It will come sooner than you imagine.

If you have a combat knife as a secondary, switch to that, then knife them. Works 99% of the time.
If you think too much about your killstreak the enemies will become more harder to find and kill.
Fact: Once you get within 20 kills or so in Free For All, you will stop spawning near the enemy / they will stop spawning near you.
This happens consistently.

fact: once you start playing free for all the spawns make no fucking sense and you always get screwed up the ass by a guy who just spawned in the exact spot there was no way someone would spawn in, and you could do nothing about it

Summer sale is kinda late. Even buying it now is pretty late. CoD games only have a lifespan of one year, so if you buy it this summer you will only be able to play for a few months until the next one comes out and this one gets deserted.
If you think you can get you dollar's worth before the next game comes out, then go ahead.
I myself don't regret buying the game, but I can definitely say that my life wouldn't have been any worse had I not played it :v:

I entered a Nuketown 2025 server just to be greeted with enemies camping on the exact spot our team will spawn.
Played BO2 for the first time (Haven't played CoD since MW3 launched and i played like 1 hour of MP at a free weekend) and I kind of like it, went 38-11 first game on HQ or something.
