While I would say that the SMGs in BLOPS 2 are still probably the best choice for most of the maps, they've definitely been nerfed. As long as you keep a medium range in most firefights, most of the weapons stand on an even playing field.
They need to nerf hip fire across the board
some dude spraying with dual kap40s and killing someone from anything further than like 5m is dumb.

What do you usually do? I can point out some trouble spots.
Just a simple tip for playing CoD Zombies in general is either called "Training" or "Kiting", where you find a 20-30 second long route that loops around without crossing over itself, and you just run and shoot the zombies that follow you. It's called kiting/training because the purpose is to generate a tail or train of zombies so that you just have to shoot behind you once you have gathered them up. Doing this alone could land you up into the 20s in single player mode.

Learn to target specific zombies if you're training. If you're getting cornered, that means there's a few getting in your way. Blast the ones in your way instead of trying to dodge all of them. I like to use shotguns early on, they're a good investment.

If by getting cornered you mean that a zombie tries to football tackle you from the front of the train, the only thing I can say is try to dodge. The hardest part of building a train is waiting for all the zombies to spawn; just try and just keep moving until you are positive your train is about ~30 zombies strong, as there's a limit to how many zombies will be on the map. Once you have them all lined up, start mowing them down. After that, it's just rinse and repeat until you die.

I was playing Kill Confirmed and everyone on my team disconnected except for me, I ended up 4vs1.

I was in a Die Rise game and everything was going swell, so I decided to bring my PaP'd DSR to have fun with it. It was going fine until one guy did a bad jump and died, and he lefr in a fit of rage. He was also the host. And I forgot to mention that instead of getting a new host, the game decided to kill itself so I lost my DSR. So rip.
Is there any chance of setting up some FP custom games on PC or something so I don't have to deal with playing with the cod playerbase?
