you have my previous dream job then back when i was like 11 or something
Hell is Legoland but there are no shoes anywhere and you have to walk around (I know nothing about Legoland so I assume the floor is made of lego pieces)
The betty is ok because it rewards people that are attentive, you can see and/or hear it and completely dodge it. If you get killed by one, you could always have avoided it. The claymore is complete bullshit on the other side. They ruined so many of my good streaks. You can do NOTHING about it. If it's around a corner, you can't see it, and the delay before it explodes is too short to let you avoid it in any way. The only counter for claymores is engineer or flak jacket. That's bad. Almost nobody uses the claymore, which is a fucking relief.
Yup. I'm less against BB since there's a counter, but claymore is ruthless.
Yeah but Claymores and Betties can be countered if you have Flak Jacket, Engineer, or just chuck EMP grenades everywhere. I don't really see a nerf necessary cause they're so easy to destroy or otherwise avoid.
They just go against my personal design tastes. Claymores are a little on the crazy side. Unless maybe you can jump over them or something?? I need to test.

If you don't have enginner or flak jacket you litterally can't do anything to avoid being killed by a claymore. [editline]30th July 2013[/editline] Getting automerges is hard
Considering most of them are placed at entrances or choke points, you just have to check first. It really depends on the placement. Plus, if someone legitimately had the smarts to not only hide it well enough to the point I don't anticipate it and kill me, then I don't get upset because it's clear they bested me. [editline]30th July 2013[/editline] Ghosts multiplayer reveal coming August 14th, apparently. Unfortunately I'll be in Indianapolis that day, hopefully I'll still get to watch it even if late.
I've found I can only reliably dropshot betties when I'm not sprinting, if I hear it and try and go prone it's always too slow. Maybe my reaction times are just terrible.
release w and go prone while stationary so easy [editline]30th July 2013[/editline] or crouch
thanks i didnt know how to go prone before. A* tip would put on loading screen
Well if youre pro as shit and can aim the KSG then sure but imo the R870 is the best shotgun by far. It has a good one hit kill range if you get laser sight and long barrel. Maybe quickdraw too if you want.
that's a weird way of spelling S12

What you are saying is "play the game how you like, as long as you like to have half your class devoted to opposing things that shouldn't be a problem".

What you are saying is "play the game how you like, as long as you like to have half your class devoted to opposing things that shouldn't be a problem".
Like you say, the problem is in giving players so much control over their playstyle. You have to be willing to give up benefits and take certain risks to play a certain way, and this includes some pretty dangerous stuff. Of course, this dangerous stuff is also easy to destroy, one use, and easily dodged in the Betties case. For me, knowing that there was something that I could've done to keep myself from getting blown up by a proximity explosive pushes the onus on me, not the developers or the other players. I'm also not saying that prevention is key here. For me the game is learning my mistakes after I've died and moving on from them. Maybe if I leaned toward keeping myself alive I'd have a different outlook.
For me, knowing that there was something that I could've done to keep myself from getting blown up by a proximity explosive pushes the onus on me, not the developers or the other players.
"I could have chosen flak jacket when creating my class" isn't "knowing that i could have done something" "I could have crouched, I even heard the thing" is
"I could have chosen flak jacket when creating my class" isn't "knowing that i could have done something" "I could have crouched, I even heard the thing" is
Sometimes they're sneaky and put the betty on a lower surface so you trip it and it kills you even if you're couched/prone.
"I could have chosen flak jacket when creating my class" isn't "knowing that i could have done something" "I could have crouched, I even heard the thing" is
Uh, no, preparation is half the battle. If you play Domination for example then you should probably take a Trophy System or Flak Jacket because people are going to be tossing a lot of explosives onto the point. Counter play isn't necessarily restricted to gameplay actions such as ducking to avoid a betty or crouching to avoid people who sound whore. If you have a problem with people using explosives then use Flak Jacket. If they nerfed explosives then what's the point of Flak Jacket? The whole purpose of that perk is to counter people who use explosives a lot, it's why the perk exists in the first place.
uh the engineer perk takes up 1 slot and son how exactly do yo want them to nerf a claymore
Make them like infinity ward claymores so you have a chance to avoid them after they're tripped if you're on the ball and have a corner handy. Or jumping over them if you're manly
new map pack tomorrow i'm intrigued by the paintball level and the remake of summit (unless those are the same things?) buried sounds neat too don't care about anything else
new map pack tomorrow i'm intrigued by the paintball level and the remake of summit (unless those are the same things?) buried sounds neat too don't care about anything else
different maps, they are good.
new multiplayer maps are always welcome, but im totally hyped for buried, looks above MOTD quality
new multiplayer maps are always welcome, but im totally hyped for buried, looks above MOTD quality
the ghosts will fuck you over if you're not careful. beware the ghooooost.
new multiplayer maps are always welcome, but im totally hyped for buried, looks above MOTD quality
it took me 10 re-reads before i realized you meant "mob of the dead" and not "message of the day" what the shit is wrong with me
Double weapon xp starting August 2 and ending August 5. For sure that its going to be on PS3 and PC, but not sure about Xbox.
uh the engineer perk takes up 1 slot and son how exactly do yo want them to nerf a claymore
So i can either choose tac mask, or engineer? Get spammed by tacs, or killed instantly by a claymore. Or use them both, and that's 3 points. Nerfing a claymore? add a fraction second to the delay.
new multiplayer maps are always welcome, but im totally hyped for buried, looks above MOTD quality
Buried is decent, but there's less stuff to do so I still prefer MOTD.
So, which do you guys prefer, the FN FAL or the SMR? I'm trying to decide which gun I'm going to make into my Not-Sniper rifle, and I can't decide if I prefer the SMR's always 2 shot kill, or the FAL's recoil pattern and clip capacity.
is it just me or are people who use target finder on lmgs and camp while prone the lowest form of life on earth
is it just me or are people who use target finder on lmgs and camp while prone the lowest form of life on earth
They might suck, but they definitely aren't the worst thing in the world. My vote is still on those who actively try and argue that the only way you are supposed to snipe is with quick scoping, and any other way of using the sniper rifle is either inherently wrong or "nooby".
Eyo I did take a lot of inspiration from the Mirrors Edge video.
