As far as characters, no. In Black Ops you customized the appearance based on one perk. Ghosts seems to have a character customization similar to Halo Reach.
But Black Ops weapon customization is the best and Black Ops 2 fucked that up.

I still play Black Ops 2 when I want to relax but it's not exactly a game that you can talk about other than bragging about something you did. I just mess around with the Ballistic Knife now.

i'm thinking about pre-ordering now that actually looks decent
the cranked mode seems fun, and although the graphics aren't that far above blops2 it still looks nice.
The very first time I played MW2, I didn't know anything about CoD games, so whenever I saw "UAV Destroyed" I thought that the UAV was a small satellite that you placed somewhere in the map.
Well, I'm definitely interested in Ghosts. We'll see how it plays out.

So can you pick the camo for your soldier? That seems like it would get awfully confusing if you have all kinds of randomly camo'd soldiers.
Why? By the looks of it the players will be PMC's/remants from different nations in MP.
In the SP trailer they talk about how a federation of some sort unite some nations before trying to take over the world so logically alot of soldiers would use their own old nation-specific camo and their old gear.
Shame that Ghosts is looking interesting [in other words DOESNT look as much like a Call of Duty game now], since it has no Theater mode. Done making videos i guess!
