I'm not exacatly "good" at FPS's, but I don't get [sp]usually[/sp] pubstomped in CoD. The community is just so bad on PC.
Someone I play with won't let me use my calling card because it apparently scares people away.
I mean, at least it's not master killer.

correction, it's bad on all platforms. With a bit of practice it isn't hard to top the scoreboard every game. If you aren't that good at the game look at the current meta and copy the classes being used.

Should work, the recoil would make it kinda hard to do anything other than using it as a booster to get around.

It's called Blitz or something, where its basically capture the flag, except theres no flag and you get points when you get to the enemy portal.

It's just a gamemode for multiplayer, I don't think there's any relation between it and the story of the campaign.
well if the mp is supposed to be based off of the campaign in terms of setting/aesthetic/etc. then this is extremely unfitting.
i don't care about cod lore for the most part, but seeing someone teleport or disappear or whatever he did is really out of place
If it's a fun game mode, then I don't really care.

when have the mp maps ever really been based off the campaign?
Pretty much all of them?
I tend to think of multiplayer matches in a very mechanics based way, so my suspension of disbelief doesn't really apply to the aesthetics of what's going on. It's not very dissimilar when you see someone respawn and pop into existence on the map.
I could definitely see it being a problem in campaign where the story is supposed to be (kind of) taken seriously, but I'm not too worried about having my suspension of disbelief shattered because I saw a guy vanish.

I don't know about the map packs because I haven't played them, but all the other maps have counterparts from the campaign.
