Black Ops 2 is the only game since MW1 with a competent plot. Modern Warfare 2 [sp]Killed off half the players' characters[/sp] And was cliche at every turn. Modern Warfare 3 was boring, save for the last few missions where most of the plot development happens.

I think the Ameli is my favorite new LMG
It has a great old-school aesthetic, accurate as all hell, and the sounds are godly

Its cod, so don't expect too much originality.
I wish there were more headgear to choose from, most of them are the same with slight variation.
Granted this is the best I could come to a "Heavy Assault" type looking soldier, but there's room for improvement [I bet there'll be DLC with the gear I want]

The stuttering I can understand, that can put me off any game, but is the FoV really that big of a deal?

You can make up for the FoV easily. Just take your keyboard and mouse and set abit further back from your monitor.
Fovely is fine. I've been using it without issues, It doesn't inject any dll files it just changes the config.

People have also been banned for using it. Also ive just looked into the configs and noticed

I've tried everything everyone's mentioned. Disabled SLI, set friends to offline, disable the Steam overlay altogether, set the priority to normal, manually set the graphics options, still fucking stutters.
As for fovely I still don't know whether or not people are being banned for it (I keep hearing that people have been but I can't actually find anything like "I've been banned for using fovely" anywhere) so I don't know whether or not I want to use it. and I'm on a 27" monitor, so I can't lean back or whatever far enough to naturally adjust to the fov.
Trying to figure out a decent shotgun class, but the range of them is very noticeable, and slugs seem to be worthless.
I'm correct in saying that aiming down the sights does nothing to a shotgun, right?

Campaign wise, MW2 and MW3 did not seem like sequals to MW1 at all, man the quality dropped :v:
World at War campaign was pretty fun too though and Black Ops even more in my opinion.
isnt there a perk for faster ADS? aiming scoped is so slow it makes me think its not worth bothering and just using steady aim perk

ADS tightens the spread with the shotgun.
quickdraw is draw time isnt it? i mean actually aiming while in ADS, sure there used to be a perk that sped that up
