No, because the different types of supernaturals NEVER work together, they barely form a cohesive community with their own kind.

thats quite a generalization
and also a viewpoint which tries to stomp out the immense fun that is watching a completely dysfunctional group of people try and work together.

My point is they wouldn't try to work together in the first place.

I don't see why not, if fate gives them a little nudge here and there.
I'd play but I'd have to either A) Have very busy saturdays as I involve myself in 2 different games on the same day or B)stop GMing my saturday Pathfinder and that would just be silly.
I don't see why not, if fate gives them a little nudge here and there.
I don't think even dead man switch collar bombs would get them to work together.
I don't think even dead man switch collar bombs would get them to work together.
I think you're completely and utterly wrong on that point.
I think you're completely and utterly wrong on that point.
Besides, the more options you allow players, the more people are likely to play a character they would actually like to play and thus are more likely to stick around and be invested in all that
I'm not saying producing homogenous groups by collective decision is bad, but forcing that on people to the possible detriment of their interest isn't necessarily the greatest idea

Last WoD game I was in, we could only pick vampires and had more than enough variety of characters to pick from. Also we had Camarilla, Anarch, and Sabbat characters in the same cotarie. So literally half the group was trying to backstab the other with no logical or emotional reason not to.
I think it's fair to say that you two are just wanting different flavors of wod games. Like how some people want to play m&m to be gritty superheroes, and some people want to be helicopters.

Well, there's a difference between World of Darkness and that mishmash of a game premise.

Not really.
You'd be surprised what kind of crazy shit there's in WoD.
For gods sake, you can shoot bees.

The Melissadae vampires were all but wiped out by the other Kindred, if one was to make their presense known then they would be marked for dusting within moments.

that wasn't what i was reffering to, not that it really matters.
oh god oh man oh god.
I overheard the warlock's familiar talking shit about me in a menacing manner.
I checked it out with a baller spellcraft roll and THAT FUCKER IS POLYMORPHED

IT WAS AN IMP.
SAID IMP ALSO APPARENTLY ABSORBED THE POWER OF THE STAFF OF FIRE, AND NOT THE WARLOCK.
He saved us from dying via volcano after the BBEG locked us in said volcano after being a dick and backstabbing us.

But it was fun!
That's debatable.
Olidammara just roped us into a fucking interplanar wheel of fortune scavenger hunt I don't even
HAHAHAH! YESSS!
After 19 sessions, we finally finished the Fallout game I've been hosting. I'm so happy that we actually concluded a game and didn't just drop it.

The sorcery of semi-consistency, a GM who had no idea what he was doing, and a GM that wasn't Dwarfy.
Did you count the pre-time skip sessions?

But of course. From our first meeting in April until now, we've had 19 sessions. Just look at the Archives folder in the Dropbox, we (I) saved every log.

Also, I made a picture of Brick, debatably the most OP character I've ever seen, who could throw ten punches per turn, that averaged 80-90 damage.
