He's a bit, uhh, 'anti-social', and really pushy about getting into games.
did i ever tell you guys about both me and Hellsoldier's first experience with DnD?
basically he hosted a game which i joined (and played a psionic cause fuck yeah brain powers [he has since then banned them from all games he runs]), and gleb was in it as well
fucking big ass warforged who was into all these books in shit, wore some loony ass duster and a big ass pimp hat (idk what he said it was a fucking pimp hat). basically he was totally shit on throughout most of the game until a barbarian joined the game, at that point the autismsperg was too much to keep the relationship going
but my favorite bit was when he wrote like a multi-chapter fucking novella as backstory for his character
it was like he was the guardian of some princess and she taught him some shit or whatever, would be pretty cool if he wasn't saying "HEY CHECK OUT MY LATEST WORK PLEASE" every 5 seconds over steam
Gleb, if you read this; go and become a writer
stop being dnd tho
"Do you think Archibald [his warforged character] could have a penis?"
No, Gleb.

The fact that he emphasizes on using text over voice whenever possible just doesn't sit well with me.
Bearing in mind that a lot of time has passed since my experience with him.

I think anti social is a bit of a understatment. He is the only person to acctualy make Geza angry and that is even a feat i have not managed :v:
Who the fuck is gleb
Who the fuck is gleb

I once posted in this thread, and he added me and asked me can he join (even tho i never said about looking for people), and he kept ranting around some shit i dont remember, and he said he didn't want to join due to it not being 'serious', then he proceeded to spam me about dnd stuff every 2 hours.
Teenage Gossip General v3
Anyway our captain lost one of his eyes because our crusader has too much/not enough honor, the warlock is not a martial class, and the dice hate him. Fucking doublecrits man.
First session of Mongoose Traveler:
Party had their first month run by and had to:
Deal with a drunkard passenger for a week after he barges into the hall just outside of the bridge.
Figure out why someone was a stowaway in one of their shipments of machine parts and later found out he was being hunted by bounty hunters, presumably for messing with the mob.
Carefully approach a pair of astronauts who were attached to a small ship by umbilical and sending out a distress signal who were obviously on some form of drugs and just staring out into space.
Fucking love Traveler.

You make that sound like a bad thing.
You make that sound like a bad thing.
Well, you shouldn't force people to read it
Because if they do you can't pull an Old Man Henderson
Does anyone here happen to run Pathfinder games online? I've been dying to play since I got to university.

Come on man way to forget the part where we actually made enough money to cover our mortgage and didn't just end up being a bunch of hobos running away from the law forever on what's basically the Normandy
Living the legit space trucker life every day

For now...
dun dun dun
You also forgot my guy making frequent trips to the bathroom to wash his hands after having to touch uncultured filth.
But really it was because the first dude he had to drag was dirty and the second was bloody.
:v:
And don't forget the campaign's logo! :v:

Text over voice is the lamest and anyone who thinks otherwise is a buttlord.
Text is better when gaming over the web for in-character purposes, in my opinion. It's very easy to miss something that's been said when at a computer for any number of reasons, whereas text gives you logs that can be perused later, used to catch up if you have to step away for a moment or have connection issues, etc.

Plus some people don't do so well with the talking.
Plus some people crossplay and hearing their voice ruins the character.

just play a chain smoker
It's easiest to use voice in roleplay when you don't have a notable accent or everyone has the same accent; every person with an exceptional one(including me in every system but my own) sound ridiculous when trying to narrate their character's voice.

B-but croguy, your voice is awesome!

Yeah but a little restrictive unless he's planning on playing a Space Croat.

Although I hear Space Croatia is lovely this time of year.

Hell i don't have even that thick of a accent and i just don't like using voice for RPing in general.
Though it does provide a lot of laugh if you keep RP text and voice for OOC.
I prefer Space Australia really. Eastern Space Europe just doesn't appeal to me.

Actually on-topic: I would like to do voice since it saves time typing and I can lend more thespian stylings to my performance but there are several reasons why I can't.
I don't like doing voice chat because depending on the time the game runs it it's full of Brits/Americans going "lol you're foreign" to everyone else.

People will always be more verbose when using text than their voice -- I much prefer that to the Uh's that will always spring up when talking. I keep voices to OOC and questions.

I tend to keep voice to narration and OOC stuff.
And in some cases speech if I'm too lazy to type and I've planned what a character will say.
I will never use voice for in character chat/narration unless I am playing FATAL.
I don't like being forced to use voice in irl games
But seriously though one person at our college is like that. Joined a D&D game, sat there. Didn't talk until talked to. Then joined my recent Numenera game.
"So what kind of character do you want to be?"
"I'll text you it, whats your number?"
"Um, no, you ought to tell me it now."
Next week he said he regretfully had to leave and proceeded to absolutely throw a slew of insults at me over email and declared I was the source of his depression.
None of us missed his odor.

Whenever I see this discussion, I can't help but picture a bunch of guys at a table passing around notes with what their characters want to say or do written down.
