So Bestiary 4 and Blood of the Moon are now officially out. And I got PDFs.
Here have some pictures of the new playable races.
<snipped pictures>
I'd post pictures of the Skinwalkers but there's like 8 different kinds of them so fuck that.
Tried to buy Bestiary 4 but Paizo kept declining my credit card even though it's working perfectly fine, oh well needed to buy something more important for my work today so I'm kinda glad I didn't spend the money :v:
This PF session is going well, so far all I've done is drink brandy and insult servants.

"Lyee (GM): You hold your drink like a boss and drink a local dwarf under the table, getting a high five from the guy next to you."
Best session
We met a treant that used the phrase "root of evil" after this, I heckled it with tree puns for a good fifteen minutes.

This is a playable race? Dear lord.
I'm sure all the peasants and farmers will react great to one of those walking into town.

Never fear, I'm just your friendly neighborhood half-tarrasque!
Oh god stop those sticks hurt oh the pain oh the humanity
It looks like a Diablo-Zergling-Vortigaunt

According to the book they're used in Golarion as slaves mostly. They were subterranean slaves but then became all-terrain slaves when they decided to kill their original masters.
I want to play one...

so that is why they look like muscular blacks
Found the actual lore thing for them for you guys.
Trox were once members of a much smaller and more docile race of subterranean burrowers, but were long ago enslaved by the duergar and bred into useful brutes. Eventually, several clans of trox were able to escape their slave rs and reach the surface world, though they found the creatures above were just as eager to enslave them. Most trox still live a life of servitude. A free trox tends to be loyal to its true friends and inquisitive, though it can harbor deep grudges and resentments.
Okay. So in our GURPS campaign, we just went to a new world that was all toony. It was so toony, in fact, that we had to roll an HT roll to resist botulism. HOWEVER, my character was still suffering from an old wound and had to roll for Cardiac Stress. I wasn't expecting to fail every roll and I just up and fucking died at the introduction of a new part of the campaign.
Fuck. At least now I get to play as a 9' tall skelington on a bike in a track suit with a huge pompadour hairstyle.
Spent half-an-hour coming up with lesbian elf pick-up lines, but they're too bad/good to share.
Facepunch, would you say a Gundam RPG would run good with Dark Heresy combat mechanics? Or just the crit tables on account of all the explosions going on?
This, is genuine curiosity, and because /tg/ has once again decided to try mash the two together after the attempt in 2010.

It worked pretty well for Eva, so I don't really see why it wouldn't work with Gundam
although why you would't just use Mekton instead does seem a bit strange, but then again homebrewing is usually fun even if it's redundant

"Hey girl, wanna test out my 'Animate Rope' spell?"

"I don't squirt; I prismatic spray."

It's all a little loony.

Chasing the super-duper-double-evil-BBEG in our usually grimish-darkish campaign and decide to play some chase music. Players were expecting something dramatic and epic, so I put this on

The contrast made the whole scenario hilariously awesome.

Mekton was literally built around Gundam style giant robots, I've had to adapt/create rules for new sorts of weapons for my super robot style campaign. But something like Gundam is perfect for the system. PM me if you want information
The lengthy time it takes to color them aside; I'm really digging black & white equipment drawings now. Don't have to settle for color schemes this way and the lines add a nice texture under the color. Wish there were more high quality ones though.
Recently did this conversion to see how involved the process would become. Fairly happy with it.

You know something you rarely see decent enchanted versions of are non-weapon, non-armor items. Enchanted caltrops that explode on contact, a 'tanglefoot' bag that's actually a green slime, a decanter of endless lamp oil (for a glorious flamethrower/grenade)
Sure, there's a moderate amount of miscellaneous enchanted items, but they are usually nowhere near as prevalent or useful as they could be.
a decanter of endless lamp oil (for a glorious flamethrower/grenade)
For the flamethrower part why not just get a set of those rings that act as portals to each other and just send one to the plane of fire? Keep the other in a fireproof container of some sort and just open that and incinerate whatever is in your way.

As a GM, this sounds like a really really bad idea.
As a player, this sounds like fun.

Fire is always a solution
If nothing else works, set everything alight
and that's not counting the endless grease spell such a thing could provide as well
I must say probably the biggest mistake I've ever made as a GM was allowing a player to play a red half-dragon. Because you'd be amazed how many problems a once-a-day application of loads of fire solves

It could be a funny trap at that.
A regular decanter of endless water connected to the quasi-elemental plane of lightning would be amusing as well.
No, stop. Endless anything is bad news.
[sp]Endless Deck of Many Things.[/sp]

Sack of endless explosive caltrops.
Magazine of endless bullets.
Headband of endless good ideas.
The trick is to always make dat shit cursed yo.

Endless water!
But it comes out of your lungs!
