Well, fuck. A player just had to bail out of my Pathfinder session literally at the last minute - we were ordering pizza and everything. Second time this session's been postponed.
He had a good reason and all, but still, can it really be that hard to keep a game going when it's only four people myself included and we all work literally in the same room?

You also punched a nuke. And defused it by doing so.
Alright, so time for another bit of an experiment.
I'm going to host a game of Apocalypse World and I need two people with lots of relative free time to play weekdays after 6 EST and on weekends. I'm DMing two other campaigns, and have other things going on so don't expect to play every day. Instead, very frequently.
Don't know about Apocalypse World? It's a super simple narrative driven PnP game where the only dice rolled are 2d6 and I never have to touch them. There are a ton of classes and no pre-planned story line. It is completely driven by the players for the players so get ready to be creative. So please, make me a fucked up hot mess willing to go the distance and push this story around.
Only one of each class exists in the universe, so you are entirely unique.
Here's the PDFs about characters, and the limited edition characters:
If you want to be surprised please just read the descriptions and I'll give you the rest when you decide on one.

And yes, the marmot is literally a playable rodent.
Don't worry about mechanics, we'll work those out in game and while we're making characters. If you're interested please contact me on steam so I can add you on skype and get characters rolling.

That sounds awesome, but I don't have nearly enough free time.
You also punched a nuke. And defused it by doing so.
To be honest, even I thought that wasn't going to work, we just didn't have an alternative.

I tried that once in a text RPG, it detonated but I was buffed up enough from chugging 90% ethanol jet fuel that I survived.

Why am I not surprised?
Why am I not surprised?
I'm surprised that he didn't drink enough jet fuel that he exploded when he punched the nuke.
I'm surprised that he didn't drink enough jet fuel that he exploded when he punched the nuke.
You're thinking too small. He obviously drank enough jet fuel that the excess jet fuel extinguished the jet fuel-fueled fires that the nuke ignited, thus rendering him entirely immune.
Don't question my infallible logic.
AdEva's done for tonight. Boston is no more.
So I've managed to recruit two new players into my second Pathfinder game, at least for the next session. Hopefully they'll counterbalance the extreme randomness of the testicle thief.

Wait, what?

One of the players in the game is doing what he calls "role-playing" by repeatedly disrupting the game to do something bizarre. It started small (burning down his own house after another player tried, and failed, to burn it down), but in the last game he killed a guy and stole his testicles, then later fled combat so he could return to the corpse and loot his dick. He later tried to sell these to a sketchy character, only to rob him for *his* testicles.
I've not played with these other two yet, but from the stories they tell, they're more likely to try to break the game by finding weird rules (one claims to have crafted a spell in 3.5 that, at first level, deals 36 damage), and will probably take the world and setting more seriously than I am.
Magical Burst: Session 2: Hell's Halls

It went to shit in the end. I get it. I'm working on it.
Starting where we left off, the part finds out that the retirement home that Eve works at and was currently in got wrecked mysteriously.
Cue investigation against police will. Find a door mysteriously intact in the rubble. Enter door. Get lost in separate halls and wander for a while in creepy dark hallways.
Sarah meets up with Satoya, who then meet up with Ally the overly active NPC girl and Enomatia the giant talking raven, while Eve meets up with Hakurobe the talking cat and the new magical girl Eri.
Shenanigans, the two split parties meet each other. Enter cafeteria-like place, giant creepy slenderman thing in a wheelchair rolls out and they start fighting it. I break the combat system. Eve becomes a magical girl. I fix the combat system.
Proceed to wailing on the cripple slenderman. Stop mid-wailing because everyone's tired.
Details left out because I am a part of everyone. Maybe I'll fix this tomorrow.
That sounds... really anti-fun. I mean, it might be fun for the individual but that's playing with some serious fire.

Does anyone have a digital form version of the Pathfinder character sheet? I don't have any printer paper, so I guess I'll have to give my friends that instead.
