Oh yeah, in our session we used Corgies to carry computerized messages between shadowrunners, and one of the players was an angry animal magnet. So yeah there was a corgi swarm equivalent to panic events in Left 4 Dead.
The GM should just do what Dwarfy did and relocate the game to Hawaii.
This is why you shouldn't trust me with anything that's damage is better measured in kilotons than HP.

Your characters always end up being varying degrees of domestic terrorists. :v: I don't think I've seen so many people get disintegrated before.
Also, that custom campaign [green] posted? It went from being incredibly fun and awesome in every regard, and due to a mentally challenged PC the campaign got so derailed that the characters had to sign an NDA about what happened.

Death Toll:
1 Player Character (Me)
1 Major character with their own file and all included missions and subplots. Thrown off a skyscraper.
4 berserkers which are just giant slabs of muscle. Repulsed off a skyscraper.
1 hovership, with the pilot inside 7 angel corpses heavy as lead, with a sword too which took the whole 5 man party to lift aboard, blasted off the same skyscraper down to the ground.
Countless civilians on the street.
All characters had to sign a nondisclosure agreement and was given a 1500V bribe.
Did I miss anything?

Included in nine disorders.

Every game I play with FPers always seems to go that way :v: the 3.5 game Elowin did, I burnt down a library. Shadowrun, I burnt down a warehouse then blew up a hospital and a parking lot. Fallout, I accidentally nuked Chicago, ending the campaign.

This was our very first session.
Fallout, I accidentally nuked Chicago, ending the campaign.
To be honest, I kinda encouraged you to do that :v:

And I had just gotten reintroduced and in the roleplaying zone as the true The Lady after waiting months, I get ONE SCENE and then the campaign ends.

I wasn't trying to set the off, I was trying to steal one.
I wish I could take more players into this but fluffing NPC-PC conversations would get absolutely horrifying.
Oh. Oh no. My GM ended our Shadowrun session.
Oh, this is a general PnP thread as opposed to just D&D?
'Cause Shadowrun is the fucking bomb.

Shoulda boarded the plane with us!
If anyone wants in on some AdEva, we might have a few spots open. Drop me a PM if you're interested.
Prior knowledge of Evangelion isn't necessary (and can be seen as something of a plus) as this'll feature a homebrew plot. I'm also aging up the pilots from 14 to 16 to make it less creepy. Don't worry if you've never run the system or Dark Heresy before, as we're all pretty new at this ourselves.
@darkrei9n Are you dead/are we ever going to get any further info related to the game on Sunday?
Bought the core manuals for 4e, can't wait to start playing with my friends.

You guys get the info on Sunday. Sorry but this entire week I've been swamped in stuff I have to do. I still have plenty of time open on weekends though in order to make sure everythings right.
Incidentally, I'm looking for a superhero-themed game. If anyone is planning on running one or know where I may find a group for one, could you let me know?
Hey, I would like this too.
Me and a friend of mine might like, co-DM a homebrew campaign of Pathfinder. Nowhere near "done" yet, but the general outline draws a good bit of inspiration from The Mist.
So me and a friend decided to take the plunge and buy (almost) all the Hero Lab Pathfinder data sets (and get the community made ones) to find out if it really had more content than our 3.5; and if it did we would begin playing that instead. Turns out it does have more, quite a bit more.
Keeping in mind I'm still without half of campaign sets and the Tome of Horrors set (which are major content additions) I'm currently sitting at:
- 364 classes & templates
- 338 archetypes
- 78 factions
- 2573 races
- 404 alternate racial traits
- 177 languages (all fantasy based)
- 1068 spells
- 1872 feats
- 155 skills (in addition to the base skills)
- 897 traits
- 439 weapons
- 122 armors
- 2526 magic items
- 942 gear items
- 115 mounts & hirelings
We don't even know where to start on our new characters now. :v:
Looks like you got quite the read ahead of you.
And here I was thinking that Eclipse Phase was complicated.

And here I thought my 10kb list of weapons was a lot.
Hey, I would like this too.
There are like no GMs for this. They are impossible to find. Even more so than for other games.

Well, for now I'm sticking with my Pathfinder game.
Has anyone here dabbled in Burning Wheel? I just recently purchased it and it looks like a great system. I was thinking about asking here if anyone wanted to play over Roll20 sometime.
Well a lot of people say they like Shadowrun, so I guess there's no harm in checking it o-
OH GOD WHY ARE THERE SO MANY BOOKS
