Why do you have bricks on your desk
It was in my (at the time) unfinished basement, a lot of shit was just put down wherever there was room.
I named Brick, Brick because I looked at my desk and it was the first thing I saw :v:
Brick was the greatest character of all time.
never invite elowin
you just say that because you're clinically allergic to fun
you just say that because you're clinically allergic to fun
Your definition of fun does carry a risk of producing at least several international diplomatic incidents, though.
Your definition of fun does carry a risk of producing at least several international diplomatic incidents, though.
I thought that was the definition of fun?
Well golly I sure do wish there was a Pathfinder campaign in the works us Facepunchers can join to have a swell old time.
I like giving my characters dull, boring names then playing the most dull, boring person.
I still remember one of my favorite dnd characters i played, for probably the 2nd longest amount of time. The rest of the party included a drow, a frog person and a bird person, and if i remember correctly an orc? they all had crazy names and back stories etc. etc. So i played the most stereotypical human rogue named Dennis. shit was amazing
Well golly I sure do wish there was a Pathfinder campaign in the works us Facepunchers can join to have a swell old time.
If you wanted to GM I guarantee you'd have a full party in a day.
If I ever get off my ass to finishing enough adventure to put out a campaign, I'll do it here. I'm just not as dedicated as other GMs though.
apparantly everything i've been told is wrong and "recycling" is bad brb going to put glass, paper, and aluminium in the black bins instead of the orange ones and then going whale nuking and seal clubbing

fine i didnt need that stupid mystery game anyway i've got so many friends playing so many games that i dont even know who to join right now ;-;
Ok well if noone is making a game I'll make my own game... with blackjack... and hookers! Or at least a tale... of ... gods... and mortals. [editline]27th March 2014[/editline] Basically I have a story but no idea how to GM (player4life) and the system to use.

Still fun, but I prefer being a player.
I am a dedicated GM [editline]27th March 2014[/editline] Dedicated to making my party miserable and paranoid of doing anything
He uses traps like he thinks anyone in the history of ever thought traps were fun it's madness I tell you
Well say I have a story about a pantheon I want to tell (and have players affect), how would I find a system?
He uses traps like he thinks anyone in the history of ever thought traps were fun it's madness I tell you
The party infighting I talked about on Monday started with a slide stair into spiked pit trap. It took them over an hour to finally get past the damn thing.
Well say I have a story about a pantheon I want to tell (and have players affect), how would I find a system?
it really just depends on what you want, honestly, stories can be built around any system, what's more important is what your players want to do with themselves while your story is happening, because while a story might make a game good, if you're playing in a system your players don't like/have fun in the game's gonna fall apart in short order just based on what you've said, if you want your players to bro around with gods every day like it ain't no thing then under most circumstances I'd recommend exalted except exalted exists in a special state of mechanical hell that I wouldn't want to inflict upon anyone other than that there's always pathfinder

If you want them to be demi-gods, go with Exalted, but be warned: you will need to homebrew the shit out of everything if you want to play in anything but the default setting.
the only reason you suggested WoD is because you're begging to play it you pig
No it apparently can work pretty well for shit regardless of if you've got all the other urban fantasy shit in it or not. It also helps that Exalted 1e was basically past oWoD, so their rules can kind of transition back and forth pretty well, presumably.
Guys I don't know why you're recommending very specialized, world driven systems. If you want a blank state to go off of, go with Savage Worlds or GURPS. Savage Worlds is really good, and I think it would go well with the system youre thinking of.
apparantly everything i've been told is wrong and "recycling" is bad brb going to put glass, paper, and aluminium in the black bins instead of the orange ones and then going whale nuking and seal clubbing
Because you're playing the same character from a different PNP, I even offered to A, think of a different, unique character, and/or B, let you into the reboot as Lady, but nope, you declined. Don't make it sound like I just booted you out.
Yeah i mean your game has the most loose criteria for a character ever im a fucking rich as hell slightly insane vigilante janitor who has a batcave i mean seriously, you were cool with that from the get-go why recycle a comparatively mundane character from a way less freeform RPG when you can go to those lengths

you don't find being creative fun
you don't find being creative fun
I meant that sort of character, and I suppose that sort of game... Also, like I've said before, I don't see much of a similarity between the character I made and The Lady any more than any other character I've made, yes I've played a stealth character before, yes I've played an inorganic character before (in EP). But so what? Are base character archetypes like fucking coupons or something, limit one per customer? Am I now NEVER allowed to play a stealth-based character again? Do I need to present a fucking punch card to each GM showing what sort of characters I've already play incase the fucking RPG police catch me using the same class twice?
I don't find that sort of thing fun or compelling.
Honestly, why do you even play RPGs? I'm so confused.
Honestly, why do you even play RPGs? I'm so confused.
Well, if I could be in a game that lasts more than 5 sessions I might be able to answer that.
