Well, neutral evil. The kind that recognises that burning orphanages and stuff like that will only get you thrown out of town and quest offers to dry up. And yes I am very stubborn. I was going to play a paladin but my mood turned bad and I can't play paladins when I'm in a bad mood. Then again saying "bad mood" implies there are times when I'm in a good mood.
Neutral Evil, the same kind of Evil that Skeletons are.

Hey hey!
Skeletons are people too! They're just down on their luck.... and flesh.... they're better than zombies.
every and each one of us has a little skeleton inside themselves
Speaking of skeletons, the research crew I left at those ancient ruins have managed to decipher the language of the Ancients and I just gave them the go-ahead to run experiments with the time machine there. Should be interesting.
every and each one of us has a little skeleton inside themselves
Now imagine a cleric casting turn undead on a skeleton that's still inside you.
Now imagine a cleric casting turn undead on a skeleton that's still inside you.
It's not undead though since it's still part of a living person.
It doesn't become undead until it's animated by magic or some other weird ass shit.

What if someone animated the skeleton while it was still inside you?
What if someone animated the skeleton while it was still inside you?
Well as it's basically subserviant to the muscles it'd mean you'd have a redundant backup in case of damages nerves...

Unless the magic animation is stronger than you, or is just acting as a malicious sleeper agent for the skeleton apocolypse.
What if someone animated the skeleton while it was still inside you?
There is actually a rule for this in Exalted, kind of. There's a spell that lets you control a skeleton, and if you use it on one that's still inside a person, they can resist, but they take damage. :v:

Unless you animate your own skeleton... and use it to bolster your own physical attributes...
Oh goodnes... a wizard using animate skeleton on himself to improve his physical attributes... "NOW WHO'S THE WEAKLING!"
You can't stop it... once the host is dead the skeleton remains to take vengence on the person who killed the flesh...

But then they realise they neglected to drink milk and so their skelly is even more brittle.
Traveller makes me question why the hell I ever trust random generation
So I did a term in my career as a badass alien hunter because I'm basically a smuggler who got rich and then became an eccentric thrill seeker. I end up with an event where I encounter a dangerous critter, with a few options for how to react. Since I'd just picked up the animal training skill, I tried that option. Succeeded. I now have the monster as a pet. Cool.
Ask GM if I can random gen the critter since traveller has tables for that. He says yes, so I start doing so.
Roll environment. Get swamp. Fair enough, seems like a place dangerous critters would go. It's a carnivore, no surprise there.
Roll disposition. It's a killer, like a shark or the like. Damn this critter is scary.
Roll size, with the modifier for swamp. Get the biggest possible. This is a 5000kg monstrosity. How the hell did I tame this thing.
Roll weapons. Tentacles.
Full stop.
So you have Cthulhu for a pet.
Amazing.

Ah yes, the rare swamp sharktopus.
Been a while since I've been in this thread.
I am looking for some campaigns to join/sessions. I'd prefer EU timezones(or close), I am looking for either Pathfinder (with at least some levels on them 5+, been playing so many low level games), or a Shadowrun game, preferably 4th edition.
I can all days except wensdays and thursdays.
Add me on steam if you need a player.
This thread is never ever short of players, just GMS

If I didn't already DM a game I would love to. I kinda knew that there is always a surplus of players, but I thought I could ask anyway.
Speaking of skeletons, I'm going to run what's going to be the worst balanced game I've been involved in, a party of skeleton warriors/liches/graveknights/undead lords, who're trying to take over a kingdom and make everything into skeletons.
Speaking of skeletons, I'm going to run what's going to be the most awesome, fun, wild game I've been involved in, a party of skeleton warriors/liches/graveknights/undead lords, who're trying to take over all the land spoiled by living humanoids and make everything miles cooler than when the living are the rulers.
FTFY :v:
Looking for players for an Iron Kingdoms campaign. Will be using voice comms. European timezones preferred. PM for details if interested.
Still could use two more players for this game.

What's the game like, what's it about?
Tips to making a game work:
1. Don't be a creep.
2. Don't be a dick.
3. Listen to the GM.
Still working on the second one myself.
Fucking this, we have this one guy in my pathfinder campaign that wants to argue every single thing the DM says and we waste hours of session time because of it.
We also had this one dude who had some kind of rape and domination fetish that was part of every personality of every character he made.
We stopped inviting him...
What's the game like, what's it about?
Right.
Iron Kingdoms is a setting where giant steampunk magitech robots punch the shit out of each other. The actual game may or may not feature these robots. The idea I have is to first get the group together, then discuss what kind of adventure the players want to do. So that means I don't actually have any idea what the game will be about.
So here's what I'd be interested in running: either Numenera, as I mentioned earlier and which I could run almost immediately, or a Pathfinder game set in the region of Numeria, which is the land where the line between science fiction and heroic fantasy vanishes, where Conan the Barbarian meets robots and lasers. Not magitek or magic disguised as technology like it is in Eberron. Legitimate, honest-to-god lasers and robots and radiation and gravity suits and nuclear resonators and atom guns and neurocams and K-lances and heavy weapon harnesses and robojacks and thoracic nanite chambers and graviton generators and more stuff like that.
The catch is that the Pathfinder game would have to start in August when the Technology Guide comes out. So I know it's weird asking two months in advance, but who would be interested in a game like this?
This image has probably been paraded around here before, but this is what Numeria is all about:

And this one, which I will shamelessly re-post from several pages back

So Yor: Hunter from the Future.
I would like to join that, if allowed.
I would be all over that shit assuming there's not scheduling problems
Yeah, if I can make it into that (which means if it's either past 8pm CST or on Mondays/Fridays) I'd be totally down
this is going to be an all barbarian party right?
