5e introduced wireless as a popular way to access networks this is an unforgivable crime
...cyberpunk with popular wireless what is this heresy
Pokemon Tabletop was great fun, by the way. We'd done some one-shots in the past for familiarization, but this was the first session of our campaign proper. Some highlights: -Roleplaying with pokemon. Just, in general, those little interactions and hijinks that come from having a team of weird super animals. -Josia [sp]half-fae cowboy[/sp] and Victor [sp]glitchfucked psychic[/sp] spending all of our free time smoking hookah with our genius-level pokemon (Alakazam, Gardevoir, Mr Mime, Slowking. Especially Slowking). -Said smokefest escalating with the addition of underaged pirates bearing booze and some tech-hackers with possessed roller skates after the meet-and-greets. -Said party escalating into an overarching ruckus after dinner. -Hilarious roommate shenanigans, some involving a fire-typed Goodra commandeering somebody's bed. -At least one or a few dozen NPCs representing teams of similar ones introduced, with more on the way -We were on-fucking-point for roleplaying. While one or a few players were using the DM's attention to deal with NPCs the rest of us were able to pare off into our own inter-player rp and back again with hardly a hitch. -The tokens I made were really well-received. And then there was the cliffhanger. Where we got trapped at the bottom of an elevator shaft without our pokemon. And the floor is covered in blood and human teeth.

I realize it's cliche as hell but that is the ultimate of Pokemon spook music.
...cyberpunk with popular wireless what is this heresy
if im not forced to manually insert my data cable into network access ports, then it's not QUALITY cyberpunk im going to make a hardcore dwarf technomancer with a disdain for wireless networks edgy
5e introduced wireless as a popular way to access networks this is an unforgivable crime
no 4e introduced wireless 5e made it so that wireless is worse than manually putting your data cable into network access ports.
oh thank god i was wrong 5e still committed a sin by not completely axing wireless
Why would you get rid of wireless, it wouldn't make any sense in setting, anything that needs to be secure has no wireless or really short range anyway. Honestly if you're a decker or cybered up and aren't investing in security agent programs (Or sprites if there's a technomancer who owes you) and using skinlink or cables for nearly everything and a separate commlink and SIN for ID and calling people, you're dumb. [editline]26th July 2014[/editline] Or poor, I guess
because it's more HARDCORE to require ridiculous amounts of wires for everything! i want my cyberpunk to be GRITTY and RAW, and the rawest form of electronics is pure wiring babeeeeeyyyy
I prefer my cyberpunk to put greater emphasis on introspection rather than worry about what is and isn't "raw and gritty".
I prefer my cyberpunk to put greater emphasis on introspection rather than worry about what is and isn't "raw and gritty".
sounds like FATAL is more up your alley, if you're looking for deep emphasis on introspection
Pure wiring is all fun and games until you have to untangle a jungle of cables every time you try to walk to the other side of a room.
that is the future i hope to live in one day [editline]26th July 2014[/editline] found art perfectly matching my technomancer dwarf
I prefer my cyberpunk to put greater emphasis on introspection rather than worry about what is and isn't "raw and gritty".
Most characters in Cyberpunk don't even know what introspection means and the ones who do are sociopaths who won't introspect shit.
wow Shadowrun 5e renamed the Orgasm and Orgy spells to Euphoria and Opium Den. I am disappoint.
I prefer post-cyberpunk honestly. A lot of 4e Shadowrun was that, and it's kind of like that from what little we've gotten in 5e.
Well this PF game is starting out well, first round of the first fight, I attack, roll a 1 and break my dagger, zombie swings for me, rolls two 20s in a row and puts me on -3 straight away.

So it should've only hit you once, unless you're playing with crit confirm that is, and the second roll was a confirm?
Zombies have poor reflexes and can only perform a single move action or standard action each round. A zombie can move up to its speed and attack in the same round as a charge action.
Edit: Or it could've been a fast zombie.
everyone's concerned about wires and shit and my characters just like SLAVE EVERYTHING TO MY COMMLINK

Also I blew up a rat swarm, since I'm also the only person with AoE attacks.
So within the span of an hour i went from "sure wing, i'd be interested in that pnp" to "Ok now that my character sheet is finished and i know how to play and have met everyone i'm joining in the middle of the game with my punk rock delivery girl pilot" ?????
Any D&D players from Denmark? Specifically Aarhus...? Never played D&D before but I love RPG games in general. [editline]27th July 2014[/editline] sometimes I wish I lived in some huge city in the US

So, I managed to crash something close to a train in my 3.5 session. I cast Wall of Force while the party and I was inside the moving train because a guard was coming near after we had gotten a couple of people on the train killed. I presumably have the second highest kill tally in our party now.
Who has the highest?
I think that'd be our rogue who set a human city on fire to make a distraction while getting us out of a jail. We haven't kept track of actual numbers, sadly. Edit: For the record, I'm not considering me aiding in burning down a city of telepathic ducks as kills.
