He already said he was going to enter your magical realm.
it can get a lot more magical than that ;)
I wasn't going anywhere, I said I was going to pay someone else to do it.
If anyone wants to join Aperture Fan's Fallout PnP we are looking for new members
I'm looking for some players for a game of Warhammer fantasy... but I'm going to be using the Black Crusade core rules. Hit me up if you're interested.
do i smell a chaos warhammer fantasy game
do i smell a chaos warhammer fantasy game
That you do, also holy shit you responded SECONDS after I posted it.
it's like they can smell blood
If anyone wants to join Aperture Fan's Fallout PnP we are looking for new members
Should one PM him or just ask in the thread for details? I've seen the posts for the game here and there but never really dug into it. Mainly seeing what it's all about for curiosity's sake.
40K's setting is too OTT for me, never heard anything about the fantasy version though, other than it's like Warcraft, apparently.

A Human German Empire, neighbouring regions that are France, Italy and Spain. Orcs and Goblins, Dwarfs and Elves. It's a great setting and it doesn't get enough love.

The mixed thing I'm doing is more freeform than the weird job system that WHF has. edit: I like fantasy a lot, it's a lot more interesting than it seems at first.

The mixed thing I'm doing is more freeform than the weird job system that WHF has.
Well, the Career system isn't entirely needed for Tome of Corruption. There're dozens upon dozens of new ones added to keep you from being a Charcoal Burner your whole life. If you can get your hands on a copy, if nothing else then for mutations and thematics, it presents a far more wholesome view of Chaos than Black Crusade. Rules for playing as Norsemen, Beastmen Herds and Lords of Chaos as well, it's such a terrific book and I'm sad I never got to run a game using it. An Elf in my group once contracted Nurgles Rot and died within a week. Fun times.
Posted something that happened from my last session if anyone is interested. http://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/2c4m5j/why_you_dont_give_your_party_the_deck_of_many/
I've got it, it is good. I didn't see any rules for playing as Beastmen though, that would be a bit odd. However, Children of the Horned Rat is the BEST book of the WHF set. Skaven warlock-engineers and grey seers/plague monks are just so glorious... I've been working on trying to transfer the spells from Tome of Sorcery to use the psychic rules from the 40k books (post DH at least), and it's hard as shit to balance, especially since some of the spells are just straight up "If you succeed in casting and hit, the target dies"
it's like they can smell blood
"Warhammer" and "Black Crusade" are my trigger words
Fuck yeah. WFRP is brutal, my group used to play Dark Heresy and they thought that was rough. The fooools.
I've played DH, Only War, and Rogue Trader the only thing left for me is Black Crusade, because im not a homo and i dont want to play Deathwatch
Fuck yeah. WFRP is brutal, my group used to play Dark Heresy and they thought that was rough. The fooools.
Neglish Rot is FUCKING NASTY, and there is a spell that infects people with it in a large blast radius. There's NOTHING as nasty as that in the 40k rules, because burning a fate point won't stop you from being diseased into uselessness.
Anyone interested in the previously mentioned Fallout PnP: The game currently happens Tuesday nights at 8pm, GMT -5, but we're almost definitely switching to Friday nights at the same time. The time period is after New Vegas, I forget the exact year but it was mentioned at some point so I'll dig it up later. The setting is New York, Manhattan to be precise. It's a raider-infested hole for the most part that was hit with more dirty bombs than explosives, but that hasn't stopped civilization, of course. Anyone interested, or looking for more info, add me on Steam, and I'll start screening candidates. <----
Fuck yeah. WFRP is brutal, my group used to play Dark Heresy and they thought that was rough. The fooools.
"I Shall use the Minor Spasm power." "Ok.. Roll for demonic summons!"
While I wasn't a huge fan of playing it, Numenera is an absolute joy to GM.
While I wasn't a huge fan of playing it, Numenera is an absolute joy to GM.
In related news we spent ~4 hours playing with a battery because we didn't realize it was a battery. We were also inside the battery for a bit but who gives a shit about that.
