I have started playing as a Wookie in an Edge of the Empire game hosted at a friend's house.
I don't know much about Star Wars lore, so I didn't know until later that strangling an Imperial governor to death in front of hundreds of witnesses might have been a slight mistake*.
*Being uneducated in Star Wars lore was my given excuse, of course strangling some Nazi dude in front of a crowd of other Nazis will land my hairy, Wookie ass in the cutter :v:
they are the best characters because they are the ones who keep us wizards from getting horribly murdered every fight

And sometimes the best ones at getting them horribly murdered.

Nonsense. Wizards are the best at getting themselves horribly murdered.
I've proven this time and time again, trust me.

confirming that aside from that one time my fighter died then came back rats is the only person who has ever died in any of our games, and he almost always plays wizards or analogous spellcasters

My first Traveller character nuked himself in space.
also technically Khalil died too
My first Traveller character nuked himself in space.
There were no wizards in that game so it doesn't count

Prince would have died in Exalted, had Rear not elected to just lose an arm and an eye instead.
Also Rear died during the rusty knight thing in my first pathfinder game over a year ago, but that entire incident was terrible so lets not go in to further detail.
a situation so dire it demanded a retcon on the spot
By would have died, I mean we actually ran the combat the day before the session to see how it would play out and he actually did die, then we decided that for the sake of comedy since he was fighting basically Jetstream Sam and his character was basically Raiden, he'd just lose an arm and an eye instead so he could be more like Raiden.

My automerge has been broken.
I once died like 4 times within the span of only 3 sessions.
I also died when we did Paranoia but that was to be expected.
I think all of my characters that have died have drowned.

The "Kill it with fire" strategy always works, this is two rounds of flaming from two people. The small pogs are dead.

please dont encourage him
I read the Everyone is John "manual" and I want to do that so badly now.
Played Cthuthian stars with Rats as the dm. I was Rillek deGray pickpocket trade space samurai obsessed with being a knight abiding by there rules. Syberys was Yiami a tech, computer girl person. Kilakin was Philip J fry, with better melee then me at 4 compared to my 2. It starts off with me and Yiami going to the office of our C.O. Kilaken is still making his character at this point. Our C.O tells us that a ship is leaving a city alive then when it arrives everybody dead. We go to our ship meet are allies, phillip is now here and we go into statis sleep or something. Wake up 7 days later me and phillip spar for 60 days while we wait, because who needs sleep when the thrill of battle can keep you going.
We get there and were on the ground and the local police detectives greet us, but I have a history with the cops so I hide behind a fridge or bush something. And when they start talking to my friends I sneak up behind them and scare the detectives partner. I had taken acute sense of smell so I roll to smell fear. Dm says I do. Mission accomplished. The next 20 or so minutes is us questioning the detective and calling him incompetent until eventually we decide to investigate. we drive off in my kickass apc with shark mouth on the front and flamethrowers until we get to the shuttle.
We go in there and theres bodys everywhere and blood on the floor and the dm makes us roll perception checks. Phillip makes his and he says he hears chewing coming from the next door. Me and him decide to bring out are chainsaws, saw open the doors and scare the ever living shit out of this guy. We do it and it turns out to be a ghoul. Phillip attacks and he kills it in one hit. But by this time 2 more ghouls have come from the side. Yiami shoots one and kills it. And now its my turn. So I run jump through the window failing my athletics check but my armour saved me. I'm now at the ghoul so I attack it. It doesnt die.
Now its phillips turn again and he jump through the window pushing the ghoul away from me, he doesnt kill it either. Another one comes so Yiami shoots and it injures then she runs out through the other side. My turn again so doing the only rational thing I attempt to take it back alive. I had planned for this all along so I had 250metres of rope in my backpack. I try to roll and I get 11. The ghoul gets 12. It attacks and I parry. Then it runs away after that and I chase and tackle it down trying to hog tie it again. I massively fail this and it ends up grappling me. However rats realized they were supposed to be unconscious since they took alot of damage. A unconscious ghoul had grappled me. Feeling the shamefur dispray I push it off if me and tie it up. Then put him on my back.
Rats had to go at this point so we started finishing up, I gave some rope to Yiami to tie the other unconscious one up. And I finish it by naming mine Bear. Me and phillip also plan on opening a petshop and breading the ghouls to sell to children in the orphange I eventually make.
My important contribution to the game was reminding the party they're both fucking psychopaths
Repeatedly
For what it's worth, one of them tried to cut the head off a ghoul so he could take it as a trophy. The other one dove out a window right after it was broken in order to swing his monoblade at another ghoul. They both have chainsaws.
They are indeed psychopaths.
I have 1,264 words on the physical descriptions, personality, and history of the 4 major NPCs of my campaign. Is that normal?

I have 1676 words on the physical appearances and what the PCs will know about a bunch of minor NPCs in my game. And that's just for the first mission.

Yes, adopt this nocturnal corpse-eating canine-mouthed humanoid,

as a pet. Brilliant idea.
(Note: They probably don't actually have pants.)

I've got several documents that are all like six pages minimum that describe locations, characters, NPC names (there's 4 pages of names in that one alone, not including descriptions), quests, and plot for a game I'm starting. We haven't even had one session yet.

Don't worry, I'll find him a vacc suit or something so that way nobody will know he's a ghoul, and also he wont be able to bite people. Two birds one stone.
Got this commissioned after we attacked a cultist church and burnt it down.

unless your players allow you to throw plot at them, most of that's going out the window in that session.
