also one of the dead ones is in the pod with me, minus most of his torso what should I do with him
Consume his flesh to absorb his power! That's how that works right?
Tonight we blew up fish people and also the only surface entrance to their base, locking us out unless we go and purchase a submarine and diving suits and fight them underwater we're so going to die next session

Our magical burst game is getting terrifying. Two players intend to combine these two items they picked up along the way to create the ultimate table-turning mcguffin. The items? A months-old cupcake that's been dropped at least three times, and a banana peel with a depressing past.

I'm throwing the paladin of my campaign a bone by letting him think the local sewer cult is evil, but in reality all they want to do is summon the party/honk god. I've given them a quest to fetch an old as shit bearded goblin some breakfast wheats as well. I'll probably post an actually well written story every story arc end or something if it goes well.

Only War group looking a couple of players if anyone is interested. Every Sunday at 19:00UTC, very reliably. We've just started a new campaign, so you can join the next session no problems. [t]http://i.imgur.com/sWiluGy.png[/t] Don't get attached to your characters.

Assuming complete newbs are cool. Where are you running it?
We're running it on TS with OSUgt, and newbs are fine. We've got a few new people already. Also someone shot a protester so hard in the balls that he died and I parried a mutant with a fuckhueg claw, along with chainswording his face and kneecaps off.
On the Pathfinder game I'm DMing, I decided to pit the party against a goblin chieftain boss. One of the party members is playing a half-orc barbarian female, so I though I'd be funny if the goblin challenged her to a 1v1 fight, and if she lost, she'd be forced to marry him. By the end of the fight the party decided to spare the goblin and add him to the team, and him and the half-orc are apparently friends-with-benefits now. That's not counting the fact the goblin has a giant frilled lizard as a mount, and halfway through the fight with him, the summoner jumped into the lizard's back and began ordering it to eat more goblins who were panicking around.

Four civilians and three riot police died, they were my friends. I didn't know them until that fateful day, if at all, but they were my friends.
multilasers are the best anti-riot weapons. ferguson pd in space
I'd love to get in on that Only War action
Please note that we are no longer a party. We are a platoon.

Someone throw me a heads up if there is a Shadowrun 5th edition game going on and you need a player! I tried running it as a GM and wasn't a big fan of the labyrinthine rules but I think I'd enjoy it way more as a player.
so since Shadowrun has become my new fun-testbuild game of choice for the past few weeks, I've decided that since I've got normal, non-supernatural people down I'm going to start on more esoteric things so I'm thinking of making a technomancer, since the person in our group who has given the closest thing to 'not a no' to running this game said he'd probably do a street-level game, and since decking is expensive the non-gear-linked version sounded kind of cool but holy shit reading the hacking section is making my brain hurt and they say this is somehow less complicated than last edition

I never really got into it.
I am having way too much fun working on this campaign. Right now, I'm working on the world map. I took a really high-res satellite photo of the earth. Now I'm slicing it up into pieces and photoshopping together frankencountries. For example: Imperio de Drakoj? Start with Greece and some of Turkey. Slice that whole half with Sparta off, turn it into the east coast of Turkey (because there's an ocean where the Middle East would be). Transplant Italy into the newly-vacant spot. Slap Sicily, Sardinia, Cyprus, Crete, Corsica, and fucking Hawaii wherever looks appropriate. Transplant part of California in to help cover the seam with wherever I end up attaching this. Probably rotate the whole thing a bit to make the boot shape less recognizable. I'm also having way too much fun making up the names, because I get to Wiktionary translations for all kinds of weird languages. Humans are a mix - some modern English, some Esperanto, some Japanese. Elves use Elvish (dark elves Quenya, everyone else Sindarin). Dwarves and Duergar use Hebrew (inspired by Tolkien - he didn't leave enough to use his actual Khuzdul, but he did base the phonology and grammar on Hebrew so it fits to use it). Gnomes ended up using Serbo-Croatian, because it sounds really weird to an Anglophone. Halflings and Dark Stalkers use Old English (eg. Deorceaster). For evil races I decided using an actual language was a bad idea, so I just have nobody know what goblins, hobgoblins, kobolds and serpentfolk call their own lands, it's all just named in slightly-tweaked Esperanto (Marbodo de Pirtoj, Kindromonto). Orcs do use the Black Speech, because I managed to build a few names using the handful of words we actually know of it. Also, the party seems to be much more inventive this time. Previously we had: Dwarf Fighter Elf Wizard Human Rogue Human Cleric Human Wizard Things are still in motion, but we're looking at (in order of how certain they are about it): Oread Monk Aasimar Ranger Tiefling Cleric undecided Wizard or maybe Alchemist Either a cavalier of some type, a sorceror or summoner (both?), or maybe a rogue, and probably a half-elf but maybe a kitsune since they don't seem as weeaboo as it sounds, in Pathfinder at least If people are interested, I'll post the map when it's done, maybe more if I think it's cool enough.
If people are interested, I'll post the map when it's done, maybe more if I think it's cool enough.
I'm kind of curious how it's going to turn out.
