Is Star Wars: Edge of the Empire any good?
I've got a hankering for pew pew laser beams and big stupid machinery that Pathfinder can't provide.
Also forgot to mention in d&d, now that the gnome changed characters to a tortoiseman druid the party is majority animal people of some description. Amusing.

Yeah it's an all right system, if you like rules that focus on narrative and story rather than the labyrinthine ruleset of Pathfinder. I played it a few times and enjoyed the hell out of it.
I need a simple system for one-off games. Something where character creation is a few rolls and there's no books to go through.
Fuck. Might make my own homebrew finally.

Dungeon World can work, I think. Or Apocalypse World, if you want something more post-apoc.
Or just look through the numerous rules hacks there are for both of them that turn them in to other things.

Dungeon World is kind of meh though.
Apocalypse World is far superior. Largely because it includes space dolphin invaders in giant mech suits.

The beauty of the systems is you can have space dolphin mechs in either one if you really want to.

Just saying, almost all my weeb friends play female characters in games :v:
Everytime I play a female character I make sure she is a lesbian with J-cup breasts and hit on every NPC except guys, because ew gross I'm not gay like that. Also forget the fact that I have a manly voice deep enough to frighten children, I still try to do a high pitched voice.
Idk why I'm never invited to games after the first session of playing my OC Waifu Takezawa :(

Anyone running a traveller game that could use a new (very new to both traveller and tabletops) player? I am part of one group that plays DnD on saturday, but it isn't that exciting and the idea of traveler sound more exciting. Only problem is Thursday and Friday nights and saturday during the day I work. (In addition to the other random days they tell me I have to work.)
