I just GMed a game of Cyberpunk 2020 holy jesus it was exhausting
eh, it ain't that bad and I'm an absolute bumbling incompetent bastard lots of stuff to keep track of, yeah, especially in combat, but that's what a notepad (both the dead tree and the digital version) is for! do keep in mind that cp2020 is literally my holy grail of RPGs (alongside Feng Shui) so I might not be completely objective here
oh there's a DnD thread on FP, I've never noticed So recently me and my party arrived on the plane of law, which is basically layers upon layers of gears and everything is interconnected. As we looked down upon all the workers far down below us I rolled for planar knowledge and I was told the previous information, then I hatched an awful idea. I looked dead across the table at one of my friends - let's just call him Sam - and smiled. He immediately saw the glint in my eyes and realized what I was about to say before I even said it. He turned to our DM and said "I'm going to throw my wrench." Our DM looked at him with a confused look and asked where and why. Sam replied "Anywhere." It didn't take long before our DM realized exactly what was going on and he told Sam to roll for throwing the wrench. Needless to say, about a wrench throw later, a cog gets locked, breaks off, locks up several lower layers of the plane, starts fires, and chaos ensues among the populous below. It was fucking glorious. [editline]10th September 2014[/editline] then the planar fun police bots came by and prosecuted us with a billion god damn charges still worth it

at the time I was maxing out only my bluff and disguise abilities as well as stuff that went with them, so I just confused the lawbots and they blew up :v: best worst boss fight ever
So i'm curious as if anyone would be interested in playing a pathfinder with me as dm. Before you jump on the occasion to get a group, i'm only looking for the group, it'll be a good while before we start up if at all. (depends on college and my other dnd group) so shoot me a PM if you're interested and i'll talk with all the potential players. And feel free to include any questions in the pm instead of just "i want to play" Edited: oh and before i get to mention, I will GLADLY help new players interested in pathfinder
An update to this advert, the slots are filled. but if any new players are interested in pathfinder, i'll still do my best to go around and help people learn the pathfinder ruleset to the best of my ability in a short time.
Does anyone running a D&D/Pathfinder game have room for a player? I would like to get back into playing. I really only want to be in a party that plays their games later in the day (like 3pm PST) or at night. I have skype and a headset if you prefer voice chat or what not.

that was the wrong video to find at 3am on a worknight I tell you also Detlef here did a pretty cool portrait of the adventurer [t]http://33.media.tumblr.com/2a6587ac2913dfde134b8e124167494f/tumblr_naz7gzN3RP1s793z8o1_1280.jpg[/t]
I don't know why but whenever people initially talk about Detlef I immediately think of that one chic who got banned here a long time ago rather than the right person. You know, the girl who made the naked Nazi Gurant at the Columbine massacre picture. [editline]11th September 2014[/editline] 'dem artists all look the same to me

oh god I have to see this, got a link?
pretty sure it was culled along with all threads over a certain age. Cool pixel-noir style, romantic and intimate storyline, plot twists at every panel, and soul-scarring use of glue and broken glass
Jewdozer was a she? You learn something new every day.
No idea when I'd run it, but after a lot of discussion last night I've decided I'm going to run an Exalted Modern game at some point and make it as Rule of Cool and Fabulous as possible. Current inspirations are Persona, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and RWBY. I have no idea how I'm going to do it but by god it's going to happen.
Friend/s gonna run some adventure path set in an egypty place Very tempted to be a Cleric that follows Anubis
Friend/s gonna run some adventure path set in an egypty place Very tempted to be a Cleric that follows Anubis
Sounds like Mummy's Mask. It's terribly mediocre.

The pictures are gone since they were hosted on lolokaust before it was taken down and redesigned.
I'm making this world in D&D and adding this system where every few kilometers there is a chance of something happening, you roll a d3 to see if its Good/Bad/Nothing, then roll a d20 to see the exact thing. Like for example lets say if you roll a 1, and it falls under bad, then you roll a 16, which is you get attacked by baby eating cannibals or something. I just need some more ideas for the good/bad rolls since I don't want them to just be "you find 80 GP" or "you get attacked by bandits".

Like, you come across fortune tellers. Depending on how the party handles the encounter, you could follow a few pre-set variables to find out they had cohorts stealing your equipment while you were distracted by the show, or you could end up gaining valuable insight/a helpful item/some kind of party buff/whatever or you could come across a frog hopping along the road at a hurried pace. What does the party do? Does somebody stomp it and find it ate a plat coin? Do they follow it into the bushes to find a hidden path? Maybe someone tries their luck in kissing it and ends up poisoned for a day
