He may have been talking about Siberys, Rear, and I's game.
We've got 4 people with a 5th who may or may not be joining as a technomancer, and we play on sundays.
I don't know if the GM'd be up for a 6th person or not, though, I'd have to ask.

Would you believe Streetsam/Face and Streetsam/Infiltrator/Hacker? We branched out a bit to cover everything. (Excluding magic) I actually used the pipe as a melee weapon because it was free, and it kind of ended up becoming part of the character.

Also apparently Shadowrun Returns: Dragonfall Director's Cut came out a bit ago. So, for the people who own Dragonfall, go play it again and experience all the new stuff.
Standalone: Due to popular demand, Dragonfall is now a completely standalone title!
Five All-New Missions: The Director’s Cut features five all-new original missions, including three related directly to the personal stories of your team members. These missions take you to previously-unseen locales - both within the Flux State and beyond - where you’ll have to face challenging enemies and make tough choices in order to help your team members prevail.
Revamped Combat System: The Dragonfall combat system has received a major overhaul. An all-new armor system adds another tactical layer to the experience, while refined cover and damage mechanics emphasize the importance of battlefield positioning. Complementing these improvements is an upgraded AI system which reacts more intelligently and accurately to your actions.
Redesigned Interface: The Dragonfall in-game interface has also been rebuilt. Spells, items and abilities are now much easier to access, while improved combat feedback allows you to fully understand the tactical situation in any given encounter.
Customize Your Team: Guide your team members as they progress in each of their unique roles, choosing between different focus options to grant them new items and abilities. In addition, if you don’t like a team member’s default spell, item or weapon loadout, you can now customize what they bring on each mission.
Ten New Pieces of Original Music: Fan-favorite composer Jon Everist brings ten new tracks of moody cyberpunk music to the Dragonfall experience, including compositions based on the stories of individual members of your team.
The Complete Dragonfall Soundtrack: As a free bonus, the Director’s Cut includes the entire soundtracks from both Dragonfall AND our previous title, Shadowrun Returns. This also includes the brand new tracks exclusive to the Director’s Cut. Featuring music from the composers of the classic Shadowrun SEGA and SNES games, this exciting cyberpunk soundtrack pays homage to the past with a modern sentiment.
And Much More:

All-new alternate endings to the main campaign
I'm the kind of guy who will get an idea, no matter how perfect it is, I don't want that one player to see his idea in the game to a tee. So give him the vaguest of ideas.
Oh, except when it comes to backstories, the more you write, the more I incorporate into the game, and it's a little unfair too. Like, if one guy is super invested into his character, and the others are way less so, that one guy will basically become the protagonist, and everyone else is a secondary character.
I imagine this stuff is true for a lot of GM's too.
I know I'm very late with this but here I go :
I'm kinda the opposite in some respect. I was GM'ing these twin brothers and the slightly older one was always given a better hand in dnd and always invested a lot in the backstory of his character. (he brought a character from a previous game over to mine, but I powered him down) The other brother's characters either always died or he just couldn't get invested enough, I mean I understand when you have to play a new character every session. It wasn't because he was bad it was just bad dice rolls or his ass of party getting him crit fail killed.
So what ending up happening was I asked what he wanted to be and if he had a story for the character. The poor fellow just said "I guess I'll be a pally like my brother, of course it doesn't matter he's gonna get killed anyway. I don't really have a story either. I guess I want to be part of a paladin order."
His character was called Markas Silverhand. So I made about 50% of the game around him. I told him he was the 10th or 11th generation paladin of his family made of great and historical paladins. If you said the name Silverhand evil would tremble in fear. His father was pretty much a demi-god that could destroy whole armies with a wave of his sword, his grandfather was the leader of the order and could pretty much teleport anywhere and everywhere. His father the the current holder of the Family Heirloom "The Blade of Silverhand" which acted as a paladin's holy sword but beefed up immensely.
The older brother game me his character from before and told me he wanted to play him to show him off or at the very least continue his story that he ended. Where he ended in his previous game was at like lvl 20 or some shit. (by the end of my game they were around lvl 56/35/25 Pally/Cleric/magic-user) So I told him that he was an old man that had long seen the days of good through out the land and his family had followed in his footsteps. It was around his time to die and so he walked in the entrance of his tome and laid down for his final rest. Just then his god, Tyr(I think), came down and told him that he was needed to help save them from the end of many worlds everywhere. So his god took him through the void between worlds and sent him to Markas' world. Where he lost his Holy swords and his memories.
And that was the start of the game. It lasted roughly 2 years weekly to biweekly sessions. It was also the game that I asked you guys for suggestion for the final boss which took like 200 rounds of combat to defeat. They turned into lesser gods and blah blah blah, saved the many worlds from being destroyed.

Create a frictionless slide, chuck halflings down it as projectiles. Halflings with claws.

Today on Exalted Modern:
We(a giant adamant alchemical, a catgirl lunar, a metagaoiyn scourge infernal, and an appearance 5 fucking fabulous solar) all got a message telling us to go to the base of the Golden Globe in Knoxville, TN. The three of us that aren't the Solar got there first, and just kind of looked at each other for a bit, then the Solar pulled up in his luxury sports car with music playing from nowhere and posed as fabulously as possible. Then a blind woman named Eye Scream Jo(A pun on Ice Cream Joe from AdEva) showed up and introduced herself, and asked us to introduce ourselves.
Mr. Fabulous Solar went first, introducing himself as Guy Fabulous. Fireworks happened. Next, the catgirl lunar introduced herself as Yui(Jo added on her last name, Daichi). Then the alchemical introduced himself as Texh, and the Infernal(me) introduced himself as Baraz Amirmoez; Barry for short. Jo gave us a packet with info on 4 Exalts she wanted us to hunt down and kill; Gilles de Rais who had returned from the dead and started killing people in Paris, Josef Stalin who had returned from the dead and started killing people in Volgograd, Montezuma who had returned from the dead and started killing people in Mexico City, and Ned Kelly, who had returned from the dead and started killing people in the Australian Outback.
As we looked through the packet and considered who to go after first, a guy appeared and introduced himself as Israel, then threatened to arrest us. He apparently suspected we were going to start killing people like the 4 we were being hired to kill had, and was with the American government. We resisted arrest, to the point that he brought out another agent, Huey, in a helicopter, and a fight started. We made short work of them, but destroyed the Golden Globe in the process(largely due to the helicopter firing a missile at it then crashing in to it). We kept them alive, though.
We decided to head to Mexico City, first, since it was closest, and started driving towards Atlanta to catch a flight down, leaving Israel and Huey sleeping on a bench at a gas station on the way. Guy apparently had his own private jet, so we hopped on that and started flying.
Also Yui has the hots for Guy and Barry kind of does as well though not quite as much.
Bitch he's mine stay away

What's that thing Counter Monkey or maybe somebody in here mentioned where you hire NPCs and get them to line up in a long queue and pass a spear between them and because of some technicality in the rules it reaches terminal velocity if you do it in one round and does a million damage to whatever cops it at the end of the line
peasant railgun I think it's called

That's just a joke among a lot of people who played 3.5. And it doesn't have to be a spear; the original thing was a rock, iirc.

It's to highlight how taking the rules literally can result in some pretty broken shit, and it highlights the importance of GM wisdom when interpreting those rules because yeah in core you can turn a bunch of dudes into a railgun
It also highlights how projecting your understanding of how physics works on top of game mechanics can be disastrous- if you're only going by the rules, then you just have a line of people who can move something really fast, and make a normal thrown attack. Layering on the real-world assumption that fast objects deal more damage is where the silliness lies, because that bit is nowhere in the rules. It's like saying the rules of checkers allow you to create new laws within it because that's what kings do.
