FATAL, definitely.
Always FATAL
So I drew my party, can you guys guess what game we're playing? [t]http://i.imgur.com/UNSliPT.png[/t]
oWoD/nWoD?
wtf I need to do this
The peasant railgun is one of my favorite examples of rules or rule loopholes taken too literally.
oWoD/nWoD?
I'm gonna go with this and say hunter/changeling/mage/vampire, from left to right.
I'm gonna go with this and say hunter/changeling/mage/vampire, from left to right.
that'd be interesting
What? No 8 foot tall French Werewolf named Andre? For shame.
Having a lot of fun as a rogue/sorcerer multi-class in PF. DM ruled that attacking out of invisibility counts as a sneak attack even in combat, as long as I'm not detected. (technically not allowed by PF rule-lawyers). So I got myself Vanish and Chill Touch so I can make multiple Chill Touch attacks out of stealth and count my sneak attack bonus to every damage roll. It's a lot of damage.
This is seperate from the campaign i recruited for before hand. if anyone is interested, there's a slot open in my campaign i run with friends, a quick rundown is we play thursdays at 7:30-12pm. pathfinder ruleset, if you're interested, shoot me a message. and like before, i'll gladly help a new player, if you're interested playing and have a concept for character already thought of, you should be able to join us tonight.
Also definitely gonna take a point of Arcane Trickster asap. Ranged Legerdemain? Yes please

I could make that if it's GMT.
What time zone? I could make that if it's GMT.
it is EDT, although i'm used to hearing EST.
Exalted tonight, the party decided to head to Mexico to fight a resurrected Montezuma [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/ataGJw.jpg[/t]
montezuma needs his revenge so he must spike the water supply
I saw rents's avatar looking nervously at funkid's title and thought I was in a different thread mine/dalndox's game is hitting rough seas as we continue to suffer from people's flakey schedules and it's worrying me a bit. We still have more people than the campaign was designed for anyways > the hunter's car died and he's apparently out shopping saturday (our normal day) for a replacement > Our bard, Eric von Clapton, would be unable to make it if we do it on sunday, and he missed session #2 already. > we've got one guy who's missed the first two sessions (over the course of three weeks because too few people could make the second one and we skipped), and I haven't seen whether he's MIA this week or not. He also crashes at my place because he's friends with my friend who stays here and they play games all night. I don't hear about whether he's crashing til he's already being driven over.
Prep work is all done for my zombie campaign, I'm starting out the party in an area full of small villages and towns near a big city, Using the Realms as the major campaign framework. First session will be this weekend, barring any complications.

It just dawned on me Exalted in Mexico would probably look like this
I'm actually in suspense as to what system Burning_gray is playing. [editline]25th September 2014[/editline] Also that art rocks, man. Commission? [editline]25th September 2014[/editline] Rate me bad reading I just saw you drew it yourself
It's not really a fair question to be honest, he's just a dick. It's Lords of Gossamer and Shadow. It was Kickstarted, and its a diceless system. Considered to be the spiritual successor to the first (I think) diceless RPG, called Amber, which I sincerely doubt anyone has ever heard of. It uses the same rules framework as Amber, and the lore is heavily inspired by it as well. It's just that the Amber RPG was published in 1991, which makes it a bit outdated and obtuse, and since it was based off a book series it made it difficult to play if you hadn't read the books. I may have put slightly too much into this answer...
You're a mod, you can remove my title, right?
only garry can do that, and his view on removing titles is that someone paid money to put it there and he's not going to nullify their transaction unless it's something that'd get FP in trouble. You're stuck dropping the $5 on a new one
I've yet to read about a diceless RPG system that was actually functional... so, good luck.
I've yet to read about a diceless RPG system that was actually functional... so, good luck.
Well I've been running a game of Amber for about 6 months and my players love it, so its pretty solid imo. [editline]25th September 2014[/editline] You just have to go into it with the right mindset.
Amber as in CHRONICLES OF AMBER??? I haven't heard mention of that in a long time!
Uh, hell yes Chronicles of Amber. It's only my favorite fucking book series. I nearly cried when I found out there was a tabletop RPG based off it. One of my friends got me it for my birthday but I didn't find a group to play it with until probably 1 or 2 years later. Best decision of my life.

Good old sword and sorcery!

Also the guess on nWoD/oWoD is a pretty good guess! They're as all over the place and with conflicting interests as a hunter/changeling/mage/vampire party would be.
Don't worry elowin, I still love your playstyle. Being stick up ass serious all the time blows.
Don't worry elowin, I still love your playstyle. Being stick up ass serious all the time blows.
I didn't wanna talk about this, but being fun and silly is good, but some people cross that line, and stop respecting the game and the gamemaster and just start treating it as "do whatever you think would be funniest". Just my take on it.
i haven't really seen any moments where people cross the line in my games except the one i gmed.
