I would never play fatal, mainly because I would spend 4 hours making a character only to get raped up the nostril by a guys extremely long nipple.

Does anyone here do alternating games with a group? What I mean by that is, you have 2 different games (I.E. Pathfinder and CoC), with 2 different GMs, but the same group and on the same day of the week. Its sort of a neat idea, I think, as it allows GMs a bit more planning time, and some weeks off, and the people in the group never get bored waiting 2 weeks between games. The only issue is, if you're really invested in a game, you have to wait 2 weeks for the game to happen again.
That game is second on my list of games I want to play for the "wtf" factor, right after FATAL.
According to the hardcore nerds over in the Obscure RPGs thread on Something Awful, this game's actually pretty fun (unlike FATAL) when you strip out what little fetish stuff is in there (if you tried to take fetishes out of FATAL, you'd be left with nothing at all). Basically what I'm saying is that even though I'm not really a fan of anime at all, I'd totally give this game a whirl if I had a group I could trust not to turn it into a fetish fest. Unlike FATAL. I know just enough about it to know I don't want to play it, even just to see what it's like :v:
I would love a game of Spycraft.
Quick question about 4e: If a ranged power (In this case, canon of avoidance) has a sustain minor, does sustaining that also trigger oppurtunity attacks?
Gee thanks guys now I have to add Spycraft to the list of systems I want to try out one day.

I think some level of "this is kind of wrong" is inevitable, but surmountable with enough alcohol.
I was testing out Mutants and Masterminds and rolled up a character... I dont know how well the game mechanics work, but goddamn the character creation is fun as hell.
So I was at my college, printing out the entire rulebook for the recently released FATE Core System (which is fucking awesome, by the way). There's four printers in the computer lab. As I'm printing out all of the 155 pages (the book is 310 pages, double sided) a woman comes up, kind of just stands there. Looks at the incoming papers as they're printed up. Her: "Are those yours?" Me: "Yeah". Silence. She stands there some more. The other three printers continue to exist not far off. Woman: "Is it like, for school or something?" She says this as a sheet showing a cybernetic gorilla throwing a rock at small mutants shows faceup. I give her a look. Me: "Yes. Biology. For my summer class." She mumbles a bit, then stands there some more, waiting to use one of the four printers. None of the other printers are being used. I become very interested in my phone the whole time. WHY DIDN'T YOU USE THE OTHER PRINTERS LADY, THEY WORKED JUST FINE
I'm wondering if I should try to record the adventures of our DH group. The only problem is I can't remember every detail unless I make a summary. Also, Spycraft looks intriguing. Mainly all the additions and features added into the 2nd edition.
Yeah uhh I think she caught on your cyber gorrilas thing
Yeah, I was thinking spycraft too. Also, I need a group to play the grimdarkest of games with me.
i'm up for this.
-snip-
Also, for that Maid RPG, Im thinking of making it a Maid Heresy game. So if you get too stressed out, or don't please senpai, you have to roll on the DH crit table for explosion damage.
Quick question about 4e: If a ranged power (In this case, canon of avoidance) has a sustain minor, does sustaining that also trigger oppurtunity attacks?
With that specific power you're sustaining an effect, not making an attack, so it doesn't provoke
I was testing out Mutants and Masterminds and rolled up a character...
Gee thanks guys now I have to add Spycraft to the list of systems I want to try out one day.
Atleast Spycraft isn't ridiculously hard to get people into since it's D20, unlike, say, GURPS or WoD. [sub][sub][sub]or FATAL[/sub][/sub][/sub]

Same with Spycraft if someone actually decides to setup a game for it. Edit: Hell, I'm still up for trying anything.
Atleast Spycraft isn't ridiculously hard to get people into since it's D20, unlike, say, GURPS or WoD.
I actually really don't like D20 systems. I prefer systems where you roll multiple dice. In D20 rolling a 1 is just as likely as rolling a 10, or a 20. With just 2 d6s, suddenly rolling a 7 is 3 times as likely as rolling a 2. It's why Legend of the Five Rings is my favourite system to date. Exploding d10s mmMM.

With 3d6, the odds are better, and theres a higher bottom, but theres also a lower ceiling, whereas with 1d20, you get a higher possible stat. Of course, with that said, most games take away any roll under 10 anyway.

The Party sustained the following injuries: Assassin - One gunshot wound, leg. Adept - Minor Burns, muscle and ligament damage (Explosion) Arbitrator - Minor burns, minor internal injuries and bruising (Explosion). Psyker - Bruising, Minor Internal Injuries (Hit by ground vehicle) The total kill list for the Acolytes' first mission is as follows: 1 Gang Enforcer (Shot in face) 4 Hired Thugs (3 shot, 1 dead from broken bones, internal bleeding, trauma, gunshot wound) 1 Civilian Shop Keeper (Burned alive by gang as retaliation for Gang Enforcer) 1 Priest (Exploded) 1 Getaway Car Passenger (Shot in head.) 45-50 Gangers (Party started Gang War, both Gangs decimated by Law Enforcement.) 1 Administratum Worker (Shot repeatedly) 1 Administratum Worker's Family & Extended Family (Executed by Adeptus Arbites) And that's not counting the woman you blinded, the junkie you caused to wet himself or the habblock full of people you subjected to excruciating noise torture.
After that, we should make a one liner log, there was: "Speaking of brains" BLAM "The imperium has judge you guilty of xenophilia... I heard you had exotic taste, how about this?" TAKATAKATAKATAKA
Our Adept, aka the bookish nerd of the party, has the honour of earning the first battle scars in the line of Inquisitorial duty. Nothing major, just a few burns on his damaged arm. The Assassin might also have a mark where the bullet hit her but the Adept was the first player character to actually take critical damage in the campaign.
11:59 PM - Brick 2: Return of the Brick: FUCKING CAT JUMPED IN THE TOILET 11:59 PM - Brick 2: Return of the Brick: I WILL BE RIGHT BACK
We have fun here at Fallout: PnP.
No matter what me or my party does I always happen to be the comic relief character. Always. I should probably draw some of the hilarious shenanigans that my character is getting into.

Now we do something worthy of a lengthy story-time. We'll get it this next mission. :v: [editline]26th May 2013[/editline]
After that, we should make a one liner log, there was: "Speaking of brains" BLAM "The imperium has judge you guilty of xenophilia...
