But CoC is already at version 7 silly. and besides Fenoxo is busy working on TITS
But CoC is already at version 7 silly. and besides Fenoxo is busy working on TITS
I am ashamed to know what you are talking about.
I'm ashamed I don't know what he is talking about, considering I've been playing CoC for years now :(
If we're on the topic of flail snails... http://www.headinjurytheater.com/article73.htm flumph. 'nough said.
I had no idea the flying spaghetti monster was in the monster manual.
What is this CoC
Call of Cthulhu
What is this CoC
Corruption of Champions, a highly acclaimed RPG. [editline]2nd June 2013[/editline] look it up
Corruption of Champions, a highly acclaimed RPG. [editline]2nd June 2013[/editline] look it up
It's even better than FATAL
I downloaded the FATAL sourcebook and all I can say is... Why is Tilemaker even a class?
I downloaded the FATAL sourcebook and all I can say is... Why is Tilemaker even a class?
The same reason why about 50% of men in FATALworld participate in a gang rape at some point in their lives, as is written in the rulebook: Because the creators are fucking lunatics.
Corruption of Champions, a highly acclaimed RPG. [editline]2nd June 2013[/editline] look it up
You actually got me to laugh out loud, good job. Hardmode: Try to stay human the entire time.
Corruption of Champions, a highly acclaimed RPG.
CoC disappoints me. It's a competently made little RPG that could be something greater if it wasn't for all the damn sex and furry shit. Waste of a game in my opinion.
It's even better than FATAL
Would rather play that than Call of Cthulu. [editline]3rd June 2013[/editline] I dislike Cthulu mythos and (most) cosmic horror that much.
My favourite thing about FATAL is how inherently broken the system is. Even if you strip out all the sex and stuff (which would remove about 1/3 of the book) you're just left with a boring medieval fantasy life simulator with baffling mechanics and far too much math to figure out. There's more than a hundred skills and 17 hit locations on the body. The character sheet is eleven pages long. Spitting is a skill [editline]3rd June 2013[/editline] [t]http://puu.sh/37w02.png[/t] [editline]3rd June 2013[/editline] WHY
Isn't there not actually enough rules to make a FATAL character?
Isn't there not actually enough rules to make a FATAL character?
I'll try and roll one up when I have a spare week to see if that's the case or not. [editline]3rd June 2013[/editline] Screw that. This thing's way too long.
CoC disappoints me. It's a competently made little RPG that could be something greater if it wasn't for all the damn sex and furry shit. Waste of a game in my opinion.
The trick is to not eat or drink anything. Oh and to grind down your corruption right away to use the Beautiful Sword and thus be insanely OP. Stepping away from the CoC... I've recently gotten into a game of Jade Regent and, frankly, I'm surprised at how great it is. We've barely finished Brinestump Marsh and I'm loving the set-up they have so far (the fact I'm really digging my character, a dudebro Paladin, helps as well.) In terms of awesome APs I'd have to put it in this order (of course I'm only including the ones I've played.) Kingmaker = Jade Regent > Serpent's Skull > Carrion Crown
Kingmaker = Jade Regent > Serpent's Skull > Carrion Crown
wot
wot
I've had a chance to play all four APs in the past few months, and I was just grouping them on how enjoyable they were.
I've had a chance to play all four APs in the past few months, and I was just grouping them on how enjoyable they were.
i was reffering to how you said Kingmaker equals the rest of them
i was reffering to how you said Kingmaker equals the rest of them
I was saying Kingmaker was equal to Jade Regent, while the others were not as good as those two. While I like the entire idea of Kingmaker and the exploration/nation-building that goes along with it, I'm also really liking the build-up and Hero's Journey they have going on with Jade Regent. Serpent's Skulll doesn't get me as giddy as Kingmaker or Jade Regent, but it's still incredibly fun given the setting; who doesn't like jungles and buried treasure? Carrion Crow's got dat Gothic Horror, but the game itself isn't as compelling as the others.

If they care about that kind of stuff anyway. My group likes it so much that I've been building new systems and rules for when they ascend to Godhood and have their own planes to rule over. I'm hoping we get something akin to Game of Planes and not Dungeons and DragonballZ. :v:

I ran the first part of Serpent's Skull for a group and they all pretty much hated it. I think it depends on the group very very heavily, because I think some people don't want to wander around an island for a bunch of sessions before something interesting actually happens. From what I heard, similar with Kingmaker, seems like there's a lot of setup until more interesting things start happening. I'm enjoying Carrion Crown quite a bit though.
Dungeons and DragonballZ. :v:
See: Exalted. My abyssal for example is gonna have a blood red bonfire of essence instead of yellow/white, and the Terrestrial is going to have actual fire.
