Kicking zombies into spikes reminds me of Dark Messiah: Might and Magic. Might end up buying this later on.
runs like ass on AMD iirc
AMD user here I get slow-downs and stutter quite often but it levels out and is still playable. Runs like a bag of nails sometimes during Co-op
AMD user here I get slow-downs and stutter quite often but it levels out and is still playable. Runs like a bag of nails sometimes during Co-op
I'm running an Nvidia GTX 780 (One of the best available from the last gen of Nvidia cards, the current being the 900 series) and the game still runs like ass on my system IF texture detail is set to 'high'. Just call it lazy work on part of Techland for game optimization.
Pretty much. Even on high end cards this game runs like ass left out in the sun. For now turn off all the fancy nvidia options and set the distance draw to nothing
I've turned everything off except AA, left textures on high and view distance all the way up and manage 50-60fps constant with some dips getting as low as 40. So not too bad.
There doesn't seem to be very much of a performance drop for me when changing settings from low to high, and I seem to be in the 40-60fps range. As long as I leave NVidia stuff off, and leave draw distance to lowest, I'm fine. This is with an i7 4790K and Radeon HD 7870 GHz.
Today, I learned you can survive a fall from any height so long as you land on a zombie.
1:36
Would've been better if it wasn't blurry as fuck and uh, if we actually saw it? Bad video.
Would've been better if it wasn't blurry as fuck and uh, if we actually saw it? Bad video.
pretty sure the blur is because you're supposed to die. Sorta like in Mirror's Edge, in which the same thing happens when you fall to your death.
1:36
Oh god someone please make a cinematic recording mod for this, I have an idea.
I don't really have issues with bad performance, quite the opposite when the game runs above 60FPS the entire world starts subtly shaking and it's really distracting. however I can't use vsync since if it ever drops below 60 I get massive mouse lag
Okay I got this game and it's amazing, so much better than I thought it would be.
I don't really have issues with bad performance, quite the opposite when the game runs above 60FPS the entire world starts subtly shaking and it's really distracting. however I can't use vsync since if it ever drops below 60 I get massive mouse lag
Yeah given the recommended specs I was expecting it to not run that great on my 670 but it's pretty much perfect on around medium settings and all the nvidia shit on. What do you mean by shaking though? It could be the chromatic aberration or some other such stupid effect.
Kicking zombies into spikes reminds me of Dark Messiah: Might and Magic. Might end up buying this later on.
Dark Messiah is still the one and only. Buy it at once.
Cheapest place to buy this?
Cheapest place to buy this?
Where I got mine from http://www.cdkeys.com/pc/games/dying-light-pc-cd-key-steam It's gone up slightly but there is the 5% off code
Where I got mine from http://www.cdkeys.com/pc/games/dying-light-pc-cd-key-steam It's gone up slightly but there is the 5% off code
Pffffbleah it comes down to the same because it's in USD and not CAD like Steam so I gain nothing.
The game anti-fall damage system is pretty weird, friend challenged me to jump from the highest point in the infamy bridge and survive, i just landed on a car and the guy was fine :v:
The game anti-fall damage system is pretty weird, friend challenged me to jump from the highest point in the infamy bridge and survive, i just landed on a car and the guy was fine :v:
Cars are one of the things you can land on to break your fall, like the garbage piles and market umbrellas.
You can also land in the water when really that would probably break all the bones in your body. But Crane is made of the same material as a stretch-armstrong toy and is unbreakable.
Crane is secretly Russian, he uses alcohol and gauze to administer vodka directly into his bloodstream through the open wounds.

Is there a side quest check list of some sort that I can look at? Two side quests elude me, I even checked all safehouses and went through all Dahlia's potions. Unless it's bugged.
Where can I find collectible progress?
Crane is secretly Russian, he uses alcohol and gauze to administer vodka directly into his bloodstream through the open wounds.
*Keeps the alcohol and throws away the gauze
also its a game
you can only lie to yourself, mr. ZakkShock.
break the surface tension of the water and you'll be fine. also its a game
Actually, that's a myth.
