what do you do in the sewers holy shit I'm losing thousands of survivor points a time because I just get shot edit: okay nvm it worked this time, I got fuckin' perforated instantly every other time
It took me a few tries to realise that if you swim as low as you can the bullets don't do any damage, even though the screen still flashes like you're taking damage.
I love some of the shit he says when you get grabbed while running, its very subtle and he doesn't yell its like under his breath he says "Get off me" or "Fuck off" its the little things.
The first time I was running from volatiles, I was impressed by his panicked breathing while running; makes the experience more tense.
I figured that some houses are accessible by breaking a window and jumping in. If the window is transparent, it's breakable
yes but that's a small amount of houses most buildings in the city have bars covering their windows and yet will have fully-decorated interiors with loot as well.
I'm hoping for mods that add an increase in the number of zombies in the streets. I wanna feel surrounded when I stand on a van. Right now I get swarmed and can jump like 4 feet away and be done killing all the biters in no time.
I'll be impressed if they can make the game better optimized in time. That's my main gripe with the game right now, as I'm sure is with other people as well. That, and I should be able to suplex zombies instead of break their necks.

Oh shit someone has already been able to add a custom weapon into the game http://www.nexusmods.com/dyinglight/mods/64/?
i will make every zombie beg for their life jesus that shit got me hard as a rock
Erm.
Hope it's not obnoxious posting this but I've had so many funny moments! I keep getting caught up just running around, I often forget story missions even exist :v: The whole premise of mods makes me more excited than I care to admit!
I love how I only found out about quarantine zones after I completed the story. It's nice to just stumble up on them.
I love how I only found out about quarantine zones after I completed the story. It's nice to just stumble up on them.
I went in one right near the start of the game. It didn't go well
the grappling hook is super fun until you grapple onto something that makes you fall to your death :c
So how many of you guys play with a controller? I tried with KB + M but something about it seems super off.
-snip, thought I was in Dark Souls thread- I use KB+M
Everytime I find someone who is at the same point as me in coop they leave after organizing their inventory for 15 minutes And then I have to play with someone who is a few missions behind me I've climbed those fucking antenna towers a dozen times now at least
dying light is a game that was made to be played on a pc so using kb+m is the best option.
I don't have a good enough PC to play DL, so I have it on PS4, thus I use controller. I'd much rather use KB+m, however, the controller is still far from bad. My only gripe is that jumping and climbing is R1/RB...
One nice thing I noticed in DL is it has native PS4 controller support. I was fiddling with DS4Windows (A program that emulates a 360 controllers inputs from a DualShock 4) And I was surprised to see in game that the Xbox icons had suddenly been replaced by Playstation ones. Apparently it somehow detected I had a PS4 controller plugged in and changed all the prompts. even the lightbar on the back works properly, its green when you're in a safe zone or uninjured and turns slowly red as you get hurt, it also brightens when you turn on your flashlight.

It's quite neat
I went in one right near the start of the game. It didn't go well
Me and my friend came across one right after the tutorial, it basically turned into a bleep test going from one end to the other with zombies chasing us
Are there ever any seizures after the first one? I thought it'd be something constantly in the back of your mind and you'd need to scavenge for Antizen every few days.
Are there ever any seizures after the first one? I thought it'd be something constantly in the back of your mind and you'd need to scavenge for Antizen every few days.
yes but they're literally story inconvenient events that happen in story missions only
Are there ever any seizures after the first one? I thought it'd be something constantly in the back of your mind and you'd need to scavenge for Antizen every few days.
The seizures are nothing more than a plot device, that's all you really need to know.
Did anyone notice that the [sp]sewers you go through in the final mission[/sp] is the same as those you see in the trailer? [sp]sorry if late[/sp]
The seizures are nothing more than a plot device, that's all you really need to know.
At least we don't have to run around collecting [del]malaria pills[/del] Antizin.
Does anyone actively turn into a zombie in front of you? Like, you watch them change?
Does anyone actively turn into a zombie in front of you? Like, you watch them change?
[sp] Jade, near the end of the game during the museum section. That's all I can think of ATM. [/sp]
Ah shit, I clicked that spoiler. :(
I don't know what you expected.
