Holy hell I just thought about something else with the plot. [sp]Why the hell does Jade get pissed off that Crane works for the GRE? Ok, sure they stopped dropping supplies, but they also were the ones who dropped them supplies to begin with. She doesn't know that they've been screwing everyone around and are responsible for the virus to begin with. Why the shit to she get pissed then? In fact, why didn't Crane tell everyone he was a GRE agent the moment he realized the people in the Tower were good? I mean, why the hell didn't they question why he was parachuted in to the city to begin with anyway? He could have been like "Hey, I'm working for GRE trying to help them find these files that could be really dangerous or really helpful! I'm also gonna help you guys!"[/sp]
I think it was because Amir [sp]worked with the GRE, and when she handed you that picture of him and said "never again" she was talking about trusting you guys.[/sp] [editline]18th February 2015[/editline] thats my two cents though.
New Game Plus. 1.04 added it as the "hard mode."
so is that what this tweet was promising? [t]http://puu.sh/g30Ne/249b2f184d.jpg[/t] not what i would really want for a hard mode if it is, i wanna play a hard mode the first time around not the second
ng+ was already in the game but sure.
I'd like to give a special thanks to the guy who pointed out that during cinematic bits of the game where you need Antizin and walk very slowly, you can get around much quicker by doing the dodge to the side movement over and over.
Got my first side-by-side shotgun yesterday. Fuck melee weapons, fuck rifles, fuck pistols. The doublebarrel shotgun is amazing to use.
you have to be survival level 12 to get the grappling hook... how the fuck does he have it while only having level 4 and 3 agility/power
Agility and Power levels don't have anything to do with Survival level. Using a dupe exploit it's possible to go to a predetermined area on the map where a relief package always spawns and then dupe it until you have 2080 of them, then talk to any quartermaster once and reach max Survival level. Only takes ~2 minutes, give or take how fast you are at duping.
Got my first side-by-side shotgun yesterday. Fuck melee weapons, fuck rifles, fuck pistols.
Got my first side-by-side shotgun yesterday. Fuck melee weapons, fuck rifles, fuck pistols. The doublebarrel shotgun is amazing to use.
I just love how it can blast the limbs off of people in a single shot.
I wish they had a way to mod guns. I want a double barrel with a bayonet that is actually an angel sword katana.
Also I finished the game. 32 hours, only didn't do the sidequests where I had to gather herbs and shit and the quaranine zones. Really really good game altough I feel like the last 15 levels in the strength tree are useless, you just upgrade stuff you didn't do before. Ended it 20,16,20, the parkour skill progression slows down a lot when you get the grappling hook.
I wish they had a way to mod guns. Also what is it with modern games and not adding flamethrowers? A flamethrower is what Dying Light really needs.

I feel ripped off. I completed the Ultimate Weapon challenges and I got a 337 damage machete with absolutely no modifications. What happened to the machete used during the challenges? I was tearing shit up with that, this thing isn't even slightly comparable.
I hate when I join a random persons game and there is only one available so I connect (not knowing which mission it's on) and it ends up being the mission where [sp]your entire inventory is taken away by Rais[/sp] so i have to leave the game and then go back to a safehouse with a stash and get all my shit back and remember what was in storage and what wasn't. Why doesn't this game have a classic menu like Dead Island where you can browse all sessions and it says what mission they are on? All I see in Quick Join which never works well. Also when I finally found a session that was suitable I was playing with some random who had a mic and seemed cool (and the session was full) and then a 5th person tried to join and the entire game crashed.
There is a menu to browse sessions? [editline]20th February 2015[/editline] Are you playing on a console? If yes that's probably why, because I know for fact PC has it.

Anyone in the starting slums wanna coop? I can help you out with whatever.
I wish the night volatiles were featured a bit more prominently in the story; they're just kinda there most of the time. I would have liked to see even more messed up zombie variants at night as well, or all of them getting progressively nastier and more mutated as the game went on. I think they do a little bit, but not very much.

Those things were scary, because they're like bombers, only faster, and virtually instant explosion. What I'm really hoping is that somebody can mod night hunters into the infected lists, give it an AI routine, and allow you to encounter them under special circumstances in single-player sessions. Would be nice to see them when you reach the maximum alert for example, so that you know you're in for some real shit.
Yeah, or finding them in darker areas like deep inside buildings or those dark zones that don't seem to do much at the moment.

So i've done every side quest i can find, and all challenges. Did the Dahlia side quests, The Launch and that alcohol one for the "baby". Still don't have 100% completion though. Are there any other side quests that are hidden / require you to do something before you can do it? Or is it bugged?

I can't level to 25 and some trophys are glitched.
finally got my first hunter invasion in and invaded a guy only after i killed him a few times did i give him some hints on using his UV flashlight instead of flares to keep me from getting to him, eventually he finally got a kill on me he kept saying the pounces on him from nowhere are terrifying
People tend to quit out after I've killed them once, because they're shit.
I'm really disappointed by the guns in this game (the way they handle, also the sounds) They just don't pack a punch like the melee weapons do. Can't say it's ruined the game at all for me. Seriously one of the better games I have played.
playing as the zombie is so not fun sure its a bit fun to zip around with tendrils and pull off a pounce here and there, but its fucking retarded that the survivors can just press a button to magically somehow know where you are at all times to make things worse its fucking impossible to keep them from destroying nests if they let 2 slam away at the nests and 2 are on UV spam watch, the ground pound is also weak as shit never again
I think the zombie should have been more of a control figure than a combat one. It would have been more fun to just manipulate the undead in the area to attack the player, rather than just 1v1 or 1v4 them constantly. There's a lot of potential there for scaring and creeping out the player that got missed out on. I'd rather stalk them and just make the game really tense than deathmatch them till someone quits.
