I beat the game the other day, and I have to say it's something I really enjoyed -- 16 hours well spent. The[sp]part where you climb up the tallest antenna[/sp]was pretty fucking rad. Does anyone know the song used when you're searching for the keycard in that section? I personally loved it.
there is no escape from them.

The mod that makes every zombie run is great, at least until they deaggro from being more than ~20m away.
I've completed the main story but I'm missing one sidequest and one safehouse. I've scoured both maps and can't find a thing. Anyone have any idea what / where those could be? I'm assuming they're linked and the missing sidequest unlocks the missing safehouse because if it was a normal safehouse I'd have found it already.

That ending, though.
Also, what's the name of that mod?

Might be edited values of the Super Aggressive Zombies Mod.
I mixed mine with some others (bits and pieces from Dondie's Hardcore; Shockr's Survivor; UNaB; stuff from both versions of SAZ; Ceano's AI and Radikal Harran) to make things interesting, so night is super packed and even during the day you can get overwhelmed immediately if you aren't careful.
Found out there are also Viral swarms, and much larger waves of them come after you to fuck you up after dispatch them.

Super aggressive zombies, here: http://www.nexusmods.com/dyinglight/mods/37/?
Thanks dudes
I'm trying to use the latest Dying Light Manager, but I keep getting an error point about Entry Point Not Found. I pointed it to the EXE so I'm not sure what it's problem is.
I think I might just take it off until we get mod tools, it's annoying having to use the DL Manager.
Really want to get this, I've followed it for a really long time but can't afford it haha, god dammit.

You don't have to use it, though. At all.
You don't have to use DLM at the current moment, just pack all your stuff into data3.pak.
How do I go about doing that? Is that better than the method we had before it?
How do I go about doing that? Is that better than the method we had before it?
Instead of putting the files in My Documents, you put them in data3.pak and you launch the game normally.
data3.pak is destined to nothing else but mods.
Doesn't help that mod authors tell everyone to use Dying Light Manager though, but maybe they don't know data3.pak yet.
I'm really disappointed by the guns in this game (the way they handle, also the sounds)
They just don't pack a punch like the melee weapons do.
Can't say it's ruined the game at all for me. Seriously one of the better games I have played.
I can't say anything about the rifles or the pistols. But the side-by-side double barrel shotgun is fucking great to use.
I'd wish it could do more damage against the night hunters though. So I can be a proper big game zombie hunter :v:

Isn't automatic data3.pak the entire function of DL Mod Manager though?
Isn't automatic data3.pak the entire function of DL Mod Manager though?
It takes everything in My Documents and put it in Data3.pak yes. But i don't see the real usefulness of such a thing since you can open a .pak file with pretty much anything (probably Winrar, and 7zip for sure) and then you just have to drag & drop your files inside.
So I was going through the games files and discovered the devs left notes in the code.

Probably old news but there's actually lots of interesting stuff here. There's this line of code: <prop n="WrestlingKickFastStandUp" v="0"/>
If you change the value to 1, it makes you instantly kick yourself back on your feet after you do a dropkick. It's animated and everything.

So, he does a Kip-up?

Yup, that's exactly what he does.
There's other stuff too. Some guy on the Dying Light Nexus manage to mod them into the game though. Various things like wall running and what not.
So I've been playing Dying Light on everything lowest at about 10-15 fps. For some reason Nvidia drivers weren't installing for me, so they hadn't been updated in about 3-4 years. I decided to fix the problem, did loads of complicated shit and started up Dying Light again. Now it runs everything perfectly on max. The difference is amazing, it's like I have a new computer!
they hadn't been updated in about 3-4 years.
dude...
That's like saying you haven't changed the tyres on your car for 40 years jesus.
I'm sorry guys :(
I'm sorry guys :(
Well, as long as you make sure to update it often (could have sworn there were mandatory auto updates though), you should be good!
This might sound bad but I may be in the same situation
I have an Alienware X51 (yeah, yeah shush) and I go to the website for it and I get my computer ID or whatever and there is a list of drivers
I download those right or is there a program in my computer
I'm sorry that might have sounded dumb, I'm not too great with computers when it comes to stuff like that
Check what your graphic card is, go to NVIDIA website, select your graphic card, download last drivers.
I mean five seconds in Google and you had a proper and in-depth answer. It's easier than browsing Facepunch.

What the hell did you do?
I max the game out regardless but I am just curious.
My game crashes within 10 minutes of launching it.
I really wish there were roaming hordes in game. Like the ones you see all grouped up, but have them wandering throughout Harran randomly. That would be really awesome and unpredictable.

This should be easily modable and I wholeheartly support it. Sounds fucking awesome.
