Add the need to piss and shit and you've some hardcore zombie survival. Shit yourself in combat and you'll end up with a -25% moving speed penalty.
If you're feeling pretty risky, you can get a +3% speed boost the more you need to shit starting from 80% on the shit-o-meter.
I wish that the Disaster Relief Packages had some kind of use after you've reached max Survivor ranking. After that's done, you can keeping collecting them and giving them to the Quartermaster, but you get nothing in return for them.
Wish there was a mod that re-enabled the airdrops and made the relief packages have some use beyond survivor points. Airdrops were fun to run to and collect when they had a purpose.

I think I've seen mods that add loot to airdrops, like guns, explosives, etc, more rare things that are hard to come by.

Dropkicks end with a 3 second pause as your character says "eww."

But gives you camouflage/repellent.

Does it re-enable the airdrops though?
So, by playing naturally (but completing every side-quest) I got a good 40 hours out of the game.
Does it re-enable the airdrops though?
It's this mod here (http://www.nexusmods.com/dyinglight/mods/61/?) Unamed Overhaul mod. I'm not sure if it changes airdrop frequencies, though it says it changes "event" chances.

I'd probably just play without pants then. Get to 80%, run fast, get to 100%, shit a bit so you're down to 80% and then just repeat.

But then you reduce your Testicular Defense by 75%!
And don't even get me started with the penalties you receive if you get the Racked status ailment.
Make shopkeepers sell those cups that rugby players have, boost your crotch defense by 200%

I'm 40 hours in and I only just got to Sector 0
Around 30 hours in since I just got the game last Friday (retail, Europe). And I just got the quest to go to Sector 0.
The problem is that the game feels way too darn easy for me and my buddy. The earlier night tension is pretty much all gone and it's piece of cake already. We would love to just install the Survivor mod right now and start again, BUT we are kinda first waiting for the Hard mode patch before we continue.
But anyway the game feels so awesome. The lack of the real survival feel is the biggest problem for us and that will most likely be remedied with the hard mode + Survivor mod. Also the lack of disabling skills/perks is disappointing as we regret taking some of the stuff. Like vaulting over zombies which makes dropkicking a tad more frustrating.
So yeah I just want the Hard mode + survivor mod and I can start all over and enjoy the game even more. Can't wait for all the mods after the mod tools are released.
Bought a 980 now I have 60 fps on max settings compared to my 660 ti having 25-50 on medium to lowish.
Oh, shit. There is a survival mod with food and water needs. I just wish you could pick and choose the other features in the mod.
I'm 40 hours in and I only just got to Sector 0
Geez, and I took my sweet time too. All missions 100% done. Did you just roam around?

You can if you know what each file does. I use its loot and hunger/skill system, but I borrow the more aggressive AI from another mod. It's all just text files so it's pretty easy to mix and match.

You know, roaming around comes naturally. Me and my buddy constantly find ourselves going to the wrong directions scavenging places and hunting for air drops (at least when they still dropped). Besides just checking places is fun.

So the better AI in the survivor mod is bad? Or is it just not aggressive enough for you?
3DMGame is pirate shit.

Sorry about the pirate name, it was my friend's OC. I didn't know thats what that name was.

It's good, I just wanted something more aggressive.
It's good, I just wanted something more aggressive.
Ah good. I should probably check the files to see if the mod has stuff that I'd like to disable as well.
The modding tools can't come fast enough...

At certain times, yeah. For instance, I climbed the radio tower way sooner than I was supposed to because I was just like "Oh that place looks cool. I'll go there" and completely disregarded what the quests told me to do. I also went to the part of the bridge where you can't go by foot pretty early on. I also went after every air drop unless I was literally in the middle of something that couldn't wait. I also only ever skipped one night.
Have you guys been able to find many of those agility flags? I've only found a few, even with climbing up to so pretty high places.

what do they even give you?
what do they even give you?
Agility points.

You can find one [sp]at the top of the crane where you first dived off into the sea of blue trash bags at the beginning of the game.[/sp]
They seem so weirdly placed; I've climbed up on a lot of places that felt like there should have been one up there but there wasn't.
[sp]There's another up on top of the big bridge if you go all the way up.[/sp]
NVM: Found it myself :3
