Lower the textures quality (From high to medium).
Unless you have like 4GB of VRAM I don't think you can enjoy it without stutters/freezes.
I have a 3GB card and I have no issues with everything maxed, so that high probably isn't required.
I have 4GB of VRAM and I still stutter like fuck on high textures. Medium's fine, though.
I don't think the stuttering is because of insufficient VRAM, but instead the HDD (assuming you have it installed on an HDD) not able to keep up pulling new resources into the scene. after I moved my game to my SSD I haven't experienced any stutter.

I've got mine installed on my ssd but I still get stuttering in parts of the map. I think it's an nvidia thing.
The only bad things about this game is the performance and how easy it can be.
Night-time is nowhere near as scary or dangerous as I thought it would be, it's so easy to just simply sneak around and never get chased.
If you couldn't see all the night zombies on the mini-map, or if it didn't take them 5+ seconds to actually decide to see you and chase you it'd be so much better.
Still ridiculously enjoyable though, no doubt the most fun I've had for quite a few months.
Yeah, I did, pretty fun. I spend most of my time though just running around dropkicking everything I see. In fact, like 80% of my kills are from dropkicks. If not more.
Right now I'm trying to find the most time efficient way to level up Agility. I found a ledge somewhere I could climb rapidly back and forth that was just spewing +7 and +15, but that's almost nothing in the long run so not that efficient.
Go to Rais's place at night, shoot a gun in the air or something, dropkick zombies into the spiked barricades. Lodsepoints.
Shit I remember there was some neat attention to detail but I forgot what it was

Why run across the rooftops when you can dropkick through the entire town instead.
I see on the steam patch log for the 30th, they mention stability and performance fixes, does the game run well for most people yet?
Pretty much the only reason preventing me from buying it right now.

I run it on i5 4670K, GTX 760, 8Gig Ram and SSD, the new patch improved it way more, but it can drop here and there sometimes, I also noticed most settings, there is barely much difference when it's high or medium, keep textures high, everything else medium or off, it's down to preference, it still looks good with anything else off but high textures on.
After you do the first night mission does the day/night cycle actually cycle or is it still mission/bed specific

Ovens have a digital clock that actually tell the ingame time.

Some NPCs (random merchants, survivors, whatever) have also small clock on their vests that does the same thing.
oh, kicking. it can't get old.

I laugh when zombies sometimes bump each other and impale onto something, also try jumping onto one of these spiked barrels then bait zombies to you.
techland is filing dmca's on mods now.

I found out about this after accidentally falling down once.
Sorry about the size
I think I've found the best weapon in the game.

The quest was really neat, and then it gave a dumb weapon.
So on my first playthrough I managed to glitch into the wall in the sewers.

Wasn't even trying to.
Thinking about picking this up but hows co-op? is it story mode co-op?
I can't believe how awesome this game is. I didn't care one bit about it until it released, and my god what a pleasant surprise it's been! Like others have the said the performance issues are annoying (I get stutters often when a zombie grabs me or the "spitters" fire at me.) But besides that, I want to shout from the rooftops how great this game is.
Stumbling upon some bandits who are trying to snag a crate drop, and taking them down is so satisfying. I've got a gun now, so I could shoot them, but hand-to-hand with them feels so much more badass.

You can play everything but the prologue and final story area in coop.
Wish I could play this but it's constantly crashing my Display Drivers, even downloading AMD's newest Omega driver didn't fix it, although when Im able to play the game, im enjoying it alot.
I really like it so far
I just wish there was choices involved and dialogue options
And your player character sounds really drunk

exploding barrels
Bombers are worse than Suiciders from Dead Island.
Why give them the ability to jog?!

Why in the ever-living fuck [sp]do they keep using radio to discuss their plans right after Rais specifically states he's been listening the entire time.[/sp]
Running this on a 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo 6600 and a Geforce 460GTX.
Granted it's not even in FullHD but it's playable.

I'm at that mission where the guys at a [sp] petrol station go rogue, how do I fight them?[/sp]
Also I'm getting a bit tired of collecting stuff, I love throwing knives but I'm constantly out of materials and the upgrades to weapons are not even worth it since weapons break so damn fast.

This is a pleasant surprise game. I'm as pleasently surprised as I was with shadow of mordor.

I'm guessing you mean when you're [sp] temporarily working for Rais? The way I did it was molotov the guy on the roof then take out the rest with a police rifle.[/sp]
I'm probably on the wrong mission however.
