Well, for the college you get to
+Find the Eye of Magnus
+Interact with the Psijic Order(Why the fuck do they never use these guys? Huur doomsday prophets but they never fucking actually use them)
+Find the Staff of Magnus
+Kill two powerful thalmor spies
+Delve into dwarven ruins, figure out a machine that allows you to map powerful artifacts all over Tamriel
and probably some other things. The story is shit because it was poorly written, but there were many things that could've been great if they had used it well. It really bothers me how the Psijic Order just kinda tells you "hey we're watching you, you're doing great, k?" and nothing else happens, nobody really cares that much and it never turns into anything story-wise. You should've visited them, find out where they're hiding, join their order and be some cool shit.

Hell, it could've even be a DLC to go to their place and join them
The Psijics have more lore in ESO. Particularily in Auridon.
TCL and setstage are your friends.
Doesn't that disable achievements though?
I wouldn't have known that was an elf without you saying so.
It's not that far from Oblivion and Morrowind elves.

Then Skyrim made them like this:

ESO basically mixed the two styles of Elves.
This is closer to a Skyrim appearance.

As for Bosmer eyes, each race have several eye colors.
Dunmer can have pink eyes for instance.
ESO's character creation is pretty extensive. It isn't as limited as Skyrim's.
But Morrowind has aged like ass.
I can barely play it because of how much it looks like ass
one mod gets you 90% of the way to these screens
Doesn't that disable achievements though?
This is Bethesda we're talking about, boyo.
Doesn't that disable achievements though?
I almost wish they did. I was testing my mod setup with a throwaway character, and cheated myself a bunch of gold to hire Jenassa (for verifying some navmeshes). I immediately got an achievement. Which is a shame, because I really wanted to get that legitimately.
Achievements in Skyrim have always been pretty buggy for me, for instance I was never able to unlock The Temple of Miraak regardless how many times I reached that point in the quest, both on highly modded and completely vanilla versions of the game, so I eventually gave up and installed an achievement unlocking mod to get that last achievement. It looks retarded that it's my last displayed achievement on my list but at least I got all of them and don't have to worry about them anymore.
I must be the only sub 20 gb skyrim person right?

That's the Morrowind 3.0 overhaul right? That's what I use and it looks damn fine.

How can you play with a skyrim folder so small!

I'm not far away. I'd like to prune my load order a bit more, but I can't bear to part with anything.

Doesn't fix the very stilted "old style" gameplay though.
Good to know I can make the game look kinda pretty though.

Heh, I was just going to post mine

This is excluding Skyrim itself

Also I was going to ask, is there a way to move Mod Organiser easily? Since it never actually installs mods I suppose you could just move the folder to D:\ and then set the new file path in settings?
Alrigth tcl fixed my bloodskal problem and didn't disable cheevos so everything is cool. My character is a one handed mage so it's not like I was gonna use the blade anyway.

I'm close. It'd be smaller if my Mod Organizer folder was installed elsewhere.
About Mer design: Skyrim nailed the look, they looked like an actually different species, rather than just people with long ears.
Different facial structure, different eye structure, somewhat different cranial structure... That was GOOD.
Fuck people with pointy ears.
I haven't even got Skyrim installed, and yet...

I'm guessing that's like 90% texture mods.

Only big problem I had was that they were ugly as fuck, or at least the male ones.
I thought elves were supposed to be hot, damn it.

It bothered me the first time I played, because I didn't know much about TES at the time and the elvers weren't at all what I was expecting. Once I understand more about them it made a lot more sense though, they're supposed to be very alien and inhuman; notice how none of them have straight historical influences, unlike the Nords (Norse+some Celtic+some Cro-Magnon+some occasional Inuit), Imperials (Romans+some Colonial American), Bretons (Western European+Celtic), and, to a somewhat lesser degree, the Redguards (No African culture in particular+No Middle Eastern culture in particular).
I started playing ESO last week. It's not terrible.

I keep getting reminded that ESO uses Skyrim's minimalistic UI style for no reason in particular.
I keep getting reminded that ESO uses Skyrim's minimalistic UI style for no reason in particular.
It's what most people are familiar with. Lowest common denominator and all that.
I ain't touching ESO, not for any lore, quality, or business ethic reasons. I just want nothing to do with ol Spicy Meat Bal.

Download and install that then.
I didn't mind the questline but it bothers me how [sp]you end up being the leader of every god damn thing you just joined a week ago ingame time[/sp]
I'm so glad there are mods that exist for the College/Thieves Guild that let you [sp]tell the guilds that you don't want to be their leader[/sp]

Yeah that also annoyed me.
Luckily ESO got that right. You get honored and stuff, but you don't become the leader of either the Mage's guild or the Fighter's guild.
No need for mods.
I would actually like to play ESO, but only if it could be played single-player. MMOs really aren't my thing.
The kids at the Riften orphanage sure must have had a tough life because I just beheaded Grelod in front of their faces and they started cheering.
