So I end up getting a CTD after spending a few seconds at Bujold's camp in Solstheim. I tracked the crash down to Patchus Maximus, but that patch is just a generated file based on my other mods, so in the end the source is something else. I could disable it, take the quest and then re-enable it, but I fear it might fuck up some Perkus Maximus script in the save permanently. The skyrim crash logs doesn't even contain anything from the last five seconds before the game crashes. Any ideas how to get better crash logs, or what effects disabling Patchus Maximus temporarily can have?
Just keep a save from before the quest if you're worried about ruining something by disabling the patch. I'm guessing disabling it will probably break something horribly, seeing as how PerMa does a lot of shit.
I dunno. It's just called Boiled Chitin Armor. There aren't any Dreugh in Skyrim anyway so why would that make any sense?
Everything in Immersive Armor is from other packs on the Nexus. That armor is originally from the Morrowind Armor pack, which used it as dreugh armor. Not a horrible idea to use falmer armor as a base for it, it's just too bad that the textures are disgusting.
Thinking of buying ESO. How restricted am I if I don't buy crowns or whatever its called?
Only things effecting gameplay that require Crowns are the Imperial race (good for one-handed and blocking, can be in any faction) and the ability to place any race in any faction. Game isn't pay2win, thankfully.
Also apparently people who were Beta testers for ESO will get 500 crowns for free during tomorrows welcome back weekend.
Yeah, I was kind of hoping for like "in X quest, do Y and then run away giggling." because so far I've only stolen power from Spicy Meat Bal and Sheogorath let me take an apple pie from Pelagius's mind. I've sort of cheated Nocturnal and I tricked (read glitched my way out of the sacrifice) Boethiah but I've not been feeling anything. I think Skyrim has given me mega-kleptomania, I'm unsatisfied taking trinkets from poor peasants for petty gold I need something bigger, better, harder, stronger.
The closest equivalent would be The Black Star quest; if you choose to corrupt Azura's Star, you effectively steal it from her as its no longer within her sphere of influence (according to Nelecar, at any rate).

It just isn't very immersive if there aren't any of them in Skyrim.
Thinking of buying ESO. How restricted am I if I don't buy crowns or whatever its called?
Absolutely not restricted, all there is on the shop atm is a few mounts/pets and outfits you can wear over your other equipped armor that has no states or bonuses, its just cosmetic. There are a few potions/soul gems that work for all levels (and heal/recharge based on your current level) that hardly gives anyone an advantage. ESO has been good on making sure that the cash shop is overwhelmingly cosmetic, and those that aren't don't give anyone any advantages that others would have through normal gameplay.
my #1 gripe with EFF (the better follower mod) is that for whatever reason my followers love to fucking bump into me while standing still talking to someone? my follower literally pushes me around a corner and i can't see the person talking to me
I think EFF has an auto-relax thing for when you're idle, maybe that's why they're wandering around and getting in the way.
cant find an option to turn it off, or anything that would help me in the download description
Also apparently people who were Beta testers for ESO will get 500 crowns for free during tomorrows welcome back weekend.
Nice, now -25% or -50% sale and then they'll get a crap ton of new customers.
So I'm playing MOH:AA right now and it's just reminding me how pathetic the rain in Skyrim is because in MOH the rain actually doesn't fall under cover. Like this is game from 2002 and it does rain better than a game from 2011.
The water effects from xenoverse are better than skyrim, and that's just an animated alpha texture.
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56037/ how good is this quest mod
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56037/ how good is this quest mod
My general rule of thumb is if Novajam has a video of a mod, then don't play it.
Nice, now -25% or -50% sale and then they'll get a crap ton of new customers.
Damn it, I was passing through the thread, saw this, and thought there was finally a sale on ESO.
*Dragon attacks Whiterun, kills 3 guards and a bystander or two*
This land is tough and unforgiving, but beautiful too.

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56037/ how good is this quest mod
Haven't played it myself, but apparently, while the added spells are great, the quest is a piece of crap.
I was charged with assault in Windhelm as a dragon attacked the city I was using lightning and summoned arrows against it and none of my attacks were even aimed remotely below the level of the wall so I don't know how I would have hit somebody
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56037/ how good is this quest mod
Isn't that the quest whose author became overly defensive and angry when Novajam made his video documenting its quality?
yes
That alone is reason enough not to play it.
*Dragon attacks Whiterun, kills 3 guards and a bystander or two*
This land is tough and unforgiving, but beautiful too.

That's sounds like a tour guide desperately trying to get you to forget about the suspicious deaths happening around a local attraction.
Paarthurnax Bypass Oh lordy this looks a lot more subtle than TPD. Glad I found it before I got to the quest. Seriously, Dilemma makes the Dragonborn act like a petulant child throwing a shitfit and shouting in a language s/he barely understands. Kind of like the average weeaboo, but with the dragon language.
My general rule of thumb is if Novajam has a video of a mod, then don't play it.
Well my general rule of thumb is if the game reviewer has a bunch of waifu mods then I don't listen to it [editline]16th April 2015[/editline] Though I remember this video and that ending is garbage so I won't try it.
Well my general rule of thumb is if the game reviewer has a bunch of waifu mods then I don't listen to it [editline]16th April 2015[/editline] Though I remember this video and that ending is garbage so I won't try it.
isn't that literally every reviewer that isn't the one sponsored by Gamespot though some of the mods they review are actually decent regardless of the reviewer's waifu content. that doesn't make their videos any more watchable but still
isn't that literally every reviewer that isn't the one sponsored by Gamespot though some of the mods they review are actually decent regardless of the reviewer's waifu content. that doesn't make their videos any more watchable but still
brodual doesn't have a waifu mod but then again some of what brodual says can be disagreeable [editline]16th April 2015[/editline] also my tastes are weird. I want to say that falskaar and wyrmstooth are on the same level in terms of enjoyability but people seem to getting massive errections over wyrmstooth and love to piss on falskaar I'm just looking for some decent mods that are worth trying out. [editline]16th April 2015[/editline] http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40607/ http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52397/ how about these two mods? anyone try them?
Wyrmstooth isnt a box, feels much more natural and actually has interesting things to check out apart from the main quest. And the voice acting isnt nearly as cringey and the boss battle is actually interesting.
how about these two mods? anyone try them?
Moon and Star is p good imo, but I haven't tried the other one.
Boss battle for Wyrmstooth wasn't that good unless I killed him when I wasn't supposed to kill him. As soon as I got out of the cave he landed near me and I hit him 16 or 17 times and it died
