What level were you? That fight has multiple stages with the dragum doing different attacks. Fally-land you just stand in a circle and fight a guy who looked between his mortal enemy, a monk and the fucking dragonborn and decided to choose the dragonborn to fight. Like why? And you dont even get to bloody kill him.
I got bored in the CK today. [t]http://i.imgur.com/DMoXk4W.jpg[/t]
Isn't that the quest whose author became overly defensive and angry when Novajam made his video documenting its quality?
To be fair, he might have a point about the huge script lag. If he was right about Novajam getting over 1000ms, shit's gonna start breaking. The author is definitely a weenie though. He's always replying to comments on his mods with an undertone of self pity.
Actually respectable and not-involved-in-development reviewer Brodual did the Gray Cowl. So yeah, use it if you don't give a damn about the quest and just want to see Hammerfell.
I would've preferred a mod that took place in a new area with no main quest but a crapload of locations and miniquests jammed in.
It's annoying how people call their quest mods "DLC-sized expansions" when it's really just one linear quest line and maybe has 2-3 tiny side quests jammed in it if you're lucky.
Isn't that basically Bethesda DLC?
Isn't that basically Bethesda DLC?
the only difference is that bethesda makes it interesting
Writing dialouge for my new follower I got like a C in Art and a C- in English wish me luck
Has there been any information at all regarding the next TES game?
Has there been any information at all regarding the next TES game?
Not really. There was a rumor of Bethesda developing an actual new engine, but not much else. Given it's usually 4 to 5 years between TES games too, will probably be another one in the next two years.
Has there been any information at all regarding the next TES game?
[sp]sometime within the next 10 years a new tes game will be released[/sp] tl;dr no
Writing dialouge for my new follower I got like a C in Art and a C- in English wish me luck
I'm pretty sure those are more than enough to be a Bethesda writer.
I'm pretty sure those are more than enough to be a Bethesda writer.
and if you're making a mod, even having ever been taught english is superfluous
the only difference is that bethesda makes it interesting
Dawnguard would like a word with you, but Dragonborn nods its head.
Dawnguard feels like a convoluted jumble of scrapped DLC ideas all merged into one. "We need to go fight some vampires!" "Oh wait hang on let's go check out the Soul Cairn and party with the Ideal Masters" "Actually scratch all that who wants to go fight snow elves in a forbidden valley"
Dawnguard was okay. Crossbows are cool at least.

Also why can't the player fully side with Harkon?
Don't forget random disjointed sidequest in some Dwarven ruins. Also why can't the player fully side with Harkon?
You can't end a skyrim questline without dovahkiin killing the big chief or without the big chief dying and dovahkiin taking his place.
I just decided to try out the free weekend thing for ESO to see if they made the game any better, although it was kind of obvious that the invitation was mostly another desperate attempt to make people spend money on the game. For instance, the email telling people about getting the free micro-transaction currency did the standard "here are some examples the stuff you can spend these things on" and even showed off some special stuff that was only available this weekend. Turns out the crowns you are given are not nearly enough to buy the items that were advertised, especially because most of them were actually more expensive than the special DLC upgrades for the game. So if you are willing to spend money on this, you can either upgrade to the imperial edition for the game or you can go buy a much more expensive cat to sit on. Worst part is that the most expensive items I could find turned out to be packs of consumable items. Either way, I wasn't too keen on spending any money on the game before seeing if the gameplay had improved at all. I tried to get to it as fast as possible by just rushing through the tutorial and clicking my way past all the dialogue without paying too much attention to it. Sometimes I even ended up accidentally raising my weapon after talking to the NPC and swinging it around because I was clicking so much. That might not mean anything in any other MMO, but this is how I was introduced to the new crime system in ESO. Turns out you can bludgeon some generic NPCs to death and "steal" their items, which is exactly what I did after hitting a random NPC while grabbing a quest. It didn't really have any consequences at the time, but after a while I was chased down by angry guards who either murdered me or kindly asked my character to pay a bounty I couldn't afford because I hadn't even completed a single quest. As much as I tried taking the game seriously, I just kept getting murdered by guards in the town (where I was allowed to revive myself in the exact place I died with almost no penalty) so I just said "fuck it" and ended up running around, murdering every NPC I was allowed to attack. Funny thing was that it didn't seem to have any actually hard consequences, it just made the game slightly more inconvenient with the whole "randomly getting murdered by guards"-thing. While my bounty was skyrocketing, it ended up feeling more rewarding as I got a ton of experience for murdering everyone and a lot of good "stolen" loot. Even the guards became easy to avoid once I noticed they had the same aggro radiuses as regular aggressive mobs would have. Around level 5 I had a bounty of almost 1000 gold. Because of the leveling I went through just from my ridiculous slaughtering spree, I was able to start the main quest more early than in the beta and decided to do the quest with the long sequence of listening to the prophet talk about Lawrence Schick's giant, wet boner. However, because I was so bored of going through that whole thing again, I got bored and decided to fuck around. One thing lead to another and I ended up being unable to leave when the quest was supposed to end because of a sequence-breaking bug, then I was able to fall off the platform without getting thrown up again and got stuck in a place I wasn't supposed to be. [t]http://i.minus.com/iO9L7em0DlzPa.png[/t][t]http://i.minus.com/iIl5godbCpHss.png[/t][t]http://i.minus.com/ibzRZz1mxNTqW.png[/t] I managed to eventually somehow escape and return to the Harborage by jumping out of the map. Unfortunately, I ended up outside of the playable area and couldn't get back in. At that point I just went off and got even more stuck in a part of the area that I definitively wasn't supposed to be in. It's been almost a year since the beta and the last I was expecting was the game getting even worse! TL;DR: I tried ESO again, committed genocide in a populated area and then the game broke. I'd definitively not recommend paying for this.
You can't end a skyrim questline without dovahkiin killing the big chief or without the big chief dying and dovahkiin taking his place.
So why can't you kill him and then finish the prophecy?
So why can't you kill him and then finish the prophecy?
Because then Bethesda would have to actually come up with satisfying closure.
Because then Bethesda would have to actually come up with satisfying closure.
I'm also going to blame the power of waifuism.
Not sure what mod adds it, but I found a torch with a strong blue flame. Kinda looks like a fiery black light. [editline]asd[/editline] Have a screenie. [t]http://i.imgur.com/5x3mRzY.jpg[/t] Pretty neat.
I'm pretty sure those are more than enough to be a Bethesda writer.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/40986413/ArgonianDialouge.txt I just need to get a thesaurus, more dialogue, make it less snippy, rewrite some of the dialouge that have sidenotes at the end.
Hey guys, I think Oblivion is broke.
You mean that isn't normal? Damn, all this time...
[t]http://i.minus.com/ibkaFJJRlo5wy2.png[/t] I'm done.
What plane of Oblivion is that?
