Is there like, a mod that changes literally every clothing item in Skyrim to be skimpy? Because those thalmor robes convince me that there is.
There's several actually.
All body mods have skimpy armor replacers Theres one for UPnP, USB, ISIS...
Got ambushed by a random Khajiit in Falkreath Hold. Couldn't even tell who it was at first cause everything just started rapidly exploding around me. I'm pinned down behind a tree now. Dunno what the fuck this cat's problem is :v:
Is there like, a mod that changes literally every clothing item in Skyrim to be skimpy? Because those thalmor robes convince me that there is.
There are seven. [editline]17th April 2015[/editline]
I really wish you could go into the college of winterhold without being forced to join by that elf at the gate. Lady I just want to know where my elder scroll is.
Fus'Ro *nad kick*
I keep trying to film some cool footage of a double dragon battle in my game but no matter how many times I try something really stupid happens to ruin the footage. On my seventh try a dragon glitched its LODs and the other one crashed, hit a tree, then shot up into the air and teleported across the cell. Guys I just want to upload a video onto youtube can you get a fucking hold of yourselves
Since I'm close to finishing my house mod, I started dicking around again and made a little chess set. The CK is so fun when you've finally got the hang of it. [t]http://i.imgur.com/TQi9N1q.jpg[/t]
This mod adds domestic cats. [t]http://i.imgur.com/VqNJL0z.jpg[/t] I like this mod. [editline]asd[/editline] Pretty sure I heard a kitten in the Bannered Mare make a skeever noise as purring. Creative. Also adorable.
What do I use to make 2k textures look like 8k textures? An enb?
You don't. Look at the "high def" default textures versus the book of silence. Changing the lighting has jack shit to do with artistic talent. All an ENB is going to do is improve lighting shifts and changes, and enhance whatever existing chromatic mood is already present. Stick an ~~~~artistic~~~~ ENB like K or Bleak or Vividian on vanilla textures, and still looks pretty bland, sterile and lifeless; stick CoT on the Book of Silence RG + Geonox and get an entirely different skyrim.
Since I don't sound like an argonian at all and the best recording device I have is a rockband mic I might have to give up on making a fully voiced follower.
[vid]http://a.pomf.se/gmonrd.webm[/vid] I wish Skyrim's combat were more like the witchers.. Or Warband... Or anything else than what it is really.
I think this is worse than Skyrim tbh.
[vid]http://a.pomf.se/gmonrd.webm[/vid] I wish Skyrim's combat were more like the witchers.. Or Warband... Or anything else than what it is really.
this'd probably look cooler if the player wasnt rolling around all the time in fact this looks just like skyrim combat except the player jumps and rolls around a lot more

[t]http://i.imgur.com/TQi9N1q.jpg[/t]
And then they all turn and face you whenever you enter the area just like the damn mannequins in my house
I wish Skyrim's combat were more like the witchers.. Or Warband... Or anything else than what it is really.
Nah, it's easier to just make some tiered gear where the only sense of progression is finding gear with better armor stats or unlocking perks that just boost your damage/efficiency with a certain weapon/spell/armor. It would be too much work for Bethesda to not half-ass their next game and make it so that combat consists of more than just swinging and blocking. :v: Right now Skyrim (and possibly other TES games but I didn't really play them) is pretty much one or a mix of those things: - You and some other NPC hitting each other and the one with the best damage & armor stats wins. - Kiting/exploiting the shitty AI/pathfinding because some guy who's 2 levels higher than you requires 150 firebolts/arrows to kill. - Blocking attacks (which sometimes barely does anything) and then suddenly you get locked into a pose where you are instakilled and can't do anything about because you didn't chug potions fast enough or the NPC can 2-hit you. - You're killing shit in the wilderness and then suddenly a huge fireball hits you in the face which then results in you staring at your dead body tumbling down a hill. - You wandered near a camp and some dickbag NPC sniped you with a 100% accuracy arrow taking away 35% of your health, while you then pelt that same NPC with arrows that have the the lethality of a nerf gun. Obviously these things don't happen too frequently but they are things which make the experience of the game really mediocre after you're past the "new game" feel, shit you just can't avoid and die to because the game relies way too much on stats. There's also: - Having to use the console because a quest got stuck and you can't progress. - Things not happening/NPCs not doing jack because Papyrus is busy taking a huge shit and will be back after 20 minutes to process your 6 queued scripts. - Skyrim being haunted by Hitler's evil spirit and CTD's happening because the game ran out of your tears and needs refueling. - And Papyrus generally being a huge tangled up mess that is basically some eldritch abomination held together by voodoo magic. While there are mods which fix what's "broken" to some extent, they mostly modify/tweak things or add items that are made of assets which are already in the game (ex: AFAIK you can't just add new mechanics, you could make a flintlock or something but it'd have to use the bow or crossbow type as a base.). Sorry about that dumb rant, it's just that Bethesda is like some artist from DA who puts out zero-effort shit because they don't need to improve since people already praise their work.
I've had to keep my distance from certain enemies and let my followers tank them for me while I assault them with spells because they have the ability to instakill me with a takedown animation. I'm considering getting a takedown mod just to get rid of that.
They dont really need to increase the dwpth of the combat much more than they need to fix the feel of it. Some shooters have better shooting than others just because one feels nicer, ecen if its just holding down mb1. Do something like Dark Messiah where controls are fluid and responsive, slap the skyrim stat based bullshit and you should be alright.
The NPCs also barely react to being slashed in the face with a giant sword, there's that.
[vid]http://a.pomf.se/gmonrd.webm[/vid] I wish Skyrim's combat were more like the witchers.. Or Warband... Or anything else than what it is really.
The Elder Scrolls could take lessons from Dark Messiah. DM aged really poorly but the mere fact it allows you to hold your power attacks gives you so much more control during combat than anything Skyrim offers. I can understand games like Chivalry having continuous power attacks that you can't hold (but can cancel) since it's a multiplayer game and timing is everything in such games, but since TES is single player they really have no reason not to allow the player to hold onto power attacks (or most attacks for that matter). Even making it a perk that you unlock would be a better deal than nothing. One other thing that Dark Messiah did great was the actual sense of contact that weapons had. When your attacks would connect it felt like they actually hit stuff as the animation would stop and your swing would visibly be interrupted as soon as the weapon touched anything, while in Skyrim every single weapon just sort of ghosts through everything. It makes sense for a sword or a dagger that it'd slash through someone, but a mace or an axe should definitely be stopped in its tracks when hitting something. It's an even bigger shame than the animation stop actually occurs when you hit a shield/blocking opponent, and that's by far when your weapons feel the most satisfying since it actually feels like you're hitting things. Most of these issues are however directly linked to the engine itself being shit, and the game's quality would be improved tenfold if they switched it to anything, even UE4. The unresponsiveness of enemies when getting slashed by giant swords is notably due to the fact that the physics system is so bad that incorporating such a feature would immediately lead to most enemies getting flung the fuck off screen whenever hit at a bad angle or whenever hit with a paralysis poison. This mod makes enemies flinch when attacked, but if you apply any paralysis poison to your weapon, they'll get flung across the room and/or into the skybox never to come down, and that sometimes also happens with normal attacks (even more frequently with stealth attacks). CK just can't handle ragdolls and physics well. Finally, there's the issue that any of these features requires scripting and CK/Papyrus can't handle more than like two scripts at once so if you start using stuff like npchavokhit or mods that add proper momentum to jumping you'll slow down the game to fuck and it'll become unplayable.
skyrim with kicking would be some fantastic shit.
Is there like, a mod that changes literally every clothing item in Skyrim to be skimpy? Because those thalmor robes convince me that there is.
No. There are many.
A bear was attacking a random citizen so I did my duty as a goody-two-shoes and killed it before it killed her. Then a dragon swooped down out of nowhere right next to me. [sp]Swooping is bad.[/sp]
Nexus Mod Manager team needs to get its shit in order, holy crap. One update and everything goes to hell.
why does the camera seem so shaky
He's using immersive first person with a bad preset.
It's immersive first person. It's basically having a go pro on your player's third person model forehead.
Nexus Mod Manager team needs to get its shit in order, holy crap. One update and everything goes to hell.
Why even use it? MO is much nicer.
What's the best way of tracking down CTD's? Is there a log besides Papyrus (or whatever the default one is) I can use? My game is fine but on entering certain areas it crashes. I can load back in fine but it's annoying to have to restart my game when entering new areas.
